Not surprising since they don't do much besides die. I feel like if the girls were in any other Gundam series besides Victory, they would be very competent pilots.
They are competent but they aren't overmatching the enemy faction grunts like most protagonist and their teams do. Outside of the Victory 2 the majority of Bespa suits are either as good as the victory or better.
I'd watch it. Wonder what that would be about. Hopefully it would do them justice.
