Nolan's movies were way more "Hollywood shit" than this movie. I hardly think Reeves' 3 hour attempt to put a relatively faithful and interesting Batman onscreen can be considered something made for general audiences. It was for fans of the character/70's neo-noir movies. Hell, every shot was basically stolen from Klute. Not really comparable to the usual capeshit summer blockbusters.

The fact that you think this moronic capeflick is even remotely compared to actual neo-noir films just shows how much of a midwit you are. Those movies have intricate plotting and a compelling mystery something The Batman severely lacks because Matt Reeves isn't a talented enough writer to craft a real detective story. The movie comes off more as a toothless Se7en ripoff.
Something is wrong with your audio and you're missing half of what makes the movie great if that's what's happening. Also unironically youre past the best parts by now, it gets worse in the second half. Maybe it's just not for you or missing out on the really good sound design just ruined it for you
>the audio sucks
You can say whatever the frick you want about this movie, but to say the audio is bad is simply moronic.
Turn up your fricking volume or turn on subtitles.
Sure the the plot has its issues, particularly with the pacing post-car chase scene, but the sound design and cinematography were absolute kino that didn't deserve to get snubbed. Also think Pattinson's acting through use of his eyes is subtle and enjoyable to watch.
I liked it but my biggest problem is how it seems to hold back. It's like they shot it to be hard R but then during post production the suits demanded they edit it to be PG-13. Also it drags on in the end.
The opening scenes promised heavily.
The rest of the film is rather disappointing.
The casting is nice though, I'll watch the sequel when it comes out.
I liked the movie, but the forced anti-white statement from Catwoman took me completely out of it for a few minutes. There was no good reason for that bullshit. It felt like they had a quota to fill and I guess they did.

It’s the best Batkino ever made frick off
are zoomers actually like this?
You mean are they right?
Not always, but about that, yeah.
movie was shit. I have loved batman since I was a little kid and I couldn't even finish it
>Loved Batman since I was a little kid
So have I. Watched it three times. It was great.

Zoomers don't watch movies.
>that opening monologue
10 minutes in and I realised how poor everyone else's attempts at a live action Batman had been.
>They think I'm hiding in the shadows.... but I am the shadows
really homie?
I know it's hard to accept but Batman is a goth guy, his story is like a MCR song.
DAMN YOU
If you're not into it by that point, why are you even bothering?

>watching capeshit
>watching capekino
It only gets worse from there. Movie peaked in the first 20 minutes.
This is one of the worst Superhero films ever made, but I believe it's the only Superhero film where the bad guy actually wins.
Half of Gotham drowned to death because Batman didn't know what a Hand Rasp was.
0/10
If you're not liking it less than half way in you're not gonna like the rest because it's the third arc that really kills the movie.
If you didn't enjoy what you watched (the high) you won't like the rest (the low)
I liked it but my biggest problem is how it seems to hold back. It's like they shot it to be hard R but then during post production the suits demanded they edit it to be PG-13. Also it drags on in the end.
yup that's exactly what I've been saying since this movie came out. you can't do a pg-13 version of se7en it just comes off as silly and neutered.
unironically the best batman film.
they just need to get a proper joker for the sequel
>when does it get good?
Imagine being the guy who actually thought this movie would be good.
I was surprised how good this movie was. Best Batman movie hands down.
Movies are supposed to have a single climax
The Batman has like 3 or 4 climaxes, it's very tiring
ALL YOU PRIVILEGED WHITE buttholeS
>cant hear a damned thing
Get a check up, gramps.
>Batman has to chase Pingz just to get a lesson in Spanish
Bravo Reeves.
it doesn't, turn it off and don't waste your time

>nepobaby Muttwoman that can't act
