I couldn't even make it halfway through season one.
The only two episodes I liked were episodes one and the episode where junpei died.
I just don't get the hype.
Just watch Naruto or Bleach, it's a ripoff of those shows.
already watched those and it doesn't seem similar at all unless you mean the genre which is kind of a generic comparison. It's more similar to Chainsaw man
This is so blatantly naruto inspired.
Gojo is Kakashi 2.0
Sukuna is the 9 trails within the host.
Just another run of the mill shonen with mellowed out archetypes.
nah i don't see it, kakashi maybe design-wise but that's about it. And yeah it's a shonen duh
animation wise? Season 2 blows season 1 out of the fricking water. I recommend just skipping to that if you wanna see some good ass sakuga.
s1 and the movie had good animation too in my opinion
Couldn't relate to the MC's motivations. >I'm just a guy who is superhumanly strong while wanting to do good
Coming from Chainsaw Man to this felt like a downgrade and they were too similar not to notice this one seemed inferior.
That said, Frieren mogs both by several orders of magnitude. It's just a far superior show with more likable/engaging characters.
neither MCs have insanely wild motivations...it's shonen, but both characters are fun and enjoyable. I feel like Jujutsu has more memorable side characters though.
I'm really forcing myself to finish season 1 but I can't, everything is just so generic
-the author tries so hard to make the cursed energy shit to be like nen but it's nowhere near as well thought out or interesting as what togashi did.
-the comparisons to naruto go without saying.
-the mc's personality doesn't work, his stoic attitude fits better for a secondary, more experienced character, not a completely newby like him, I don't care if sukuna is using him or if he's in danger, because he doesn't care either
-I don't know if those ''comedy'' moments are in the manga, but they feel really out of place, if they aren't, then I can see why the anime staff tried to make this less autistic, by at least making it baffling and weird.
-the gojo wanking is so ridiculous, it's not even funny, it feels like a 12 year old writing about his OC, donut steel
[...]
Fights mean nothing if the characters are just placeholders for action scenes, it's like watching a kid playing with his toys, it's fun for the first couple of minutes but then it gets repetitive and boring
>same team of 4 with copied personalities >cool, white haired leader with super duper awesome skills and unique eyes >demon powerup hiding inside >summoning
It's literally the same thing, but for zoomers
>Their personalities are totally different, they're very friendly with each other and there's no love triangle, dark haired guy isn't angsty at all, just quiet and kind of shy, main character isn't annoying and stupid and an attention prostitute, and he picks up on stuff fast, girl isn't totally useless >The teacher is introduced as THE strongest while Kakashi is not all that strong gets power crept fast, personalities are also very different, Gojo being jokey and wienery and Kakashi just being kind of quiet. >Fox just lends Naruto his powers with no drawbacks, Sukuna takes control of Itadori's body
You narutards are just jealous because the mangaka admitted to being inspired by Bleach instead of Naruto so you look for superficial similarities that have been done before/aren't original (the "demon inside" trope in JJK is clearly inspired by the hollow inside from Bleach and not the nine tails,)
normalgays like it because it had high animation quality for some reason because the manga's art is just okay. Also season 2 had a season long of arc of basically The Red Wedding so for them this is kino
Couldn't relate to the MC's motivations. >I'm just a guy who is superhumanly strong while wanting to do good

The anime has great animation but the manga sucks. The story is nothing but pointless fights and the battles are bad because there's too many panels explaining the stupid shit going on instead of the actual action.
I'm really forcing myself to finish season 1 but I can't, everything is just so generic

it's a 2d spectacle
Fights mean nothing if the characters are just placeholders for action scenes, it's like watching a kid playing with his toys, it's fun for the first couple of minutes but then it gets repetitive and boring
This is the episode I dropped it, right in the middle of this fight.
An entire fricking city block is getting evaporated, and my only thought was >I want it to end and for the story to get back to...
And I couldn't think of a single thing to care.
I don't like the character design, especially for the villain.
Nearly every shot the characters are off model somehow.
The action is incoherent and lacking weight.
>The animation is good because people are getting thrown into buildings at mach speed and flying all over the place like DBZ
Maybe this is what they mean when they say "dishonest animation"
No, it has good animation but it also has bad animation. It has pretty amazing direction throughout, though. I like what they're aiming at and am looking forward to seeing the next JJK movie. It should be completely awesome and top anything for at least the last decade but I'm not getting my hopes up.
They aren't, maybe bacon, I mean Maki can do some stuff but even then right now she is just in the sidelines, all other females are literally on support.
>everyone loves it >"bro actually...........IT'S THE WORST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! worse than Chainsaw Man, you know - that anime we said it was the WORST when everyone loved it? haha yeah that's how we naturally feel and think here !!!"

s2 has hidden inventory which is good but the shibuya arc is a huge pile of shit
characters come and go and they try to make you feel with flashbacks AFTER their deaths and I honestly dont care for any of the characters, the main ones are boring with no backstory or anything and the side characters are just there to die
so its just a bunch of fights which range from good looking to the usual crappa shit
watch jjk 0 if you havent already and maybe the first 4 episodes of s2 and you can do that immediately since its a prequel and dont bother with the rest unless you really love brainless fights with a completely broken and under developed power system, if you do start watching from ep 5 of s2
>s2 has hidden inventory which is good but the shibuya arc is a huge pile of shit
cringe. I dont care about gay men. Toji is cool but is instantly killed. Shibuya has fun fights and interesting developments at the end
I recently got cajoled by my friend to watch JJK. He kept going on about how great it is -- in his own words, the story's nothing special, but it's a thrilling "turn your head off, bro" spectacular.
The first season was the definition of what zoomers call "mid". The art style and the animation were nice enough, and I liked the blue emanation overlay effect they do for w/e their equivalent of chakra is, but that's about the only thing I liked. There is absolutely no story to it, no characters (w/ the exception of Nanami) or motivation. The basic set-up is a mish-mash of Naruto and Bleach, but it does not go beyond an outline. The villains have no identifiable motive or identity, besides maybe Mahito (whose VA was pretty good, I have to admit). There are absolutely no interesting abilities whatsoever and even though the anime is ostensibly about "sorcerers", 95% of the fights are just basic H2H combat. Also the colour palette for the most part was nauseating (shit brown, rust red, vomit green).
S2 was pretty much the same in most regards. The direction and the animation changed noticeably (although not always for the better), but the problems of S1 got exacerbated even further. The only bits I liked were Gojo vs Toji (the heaven&earth line is awesome) and Gojo in the subway. Oh, and the "Special" opening was a banger, one of the best I've seen.
I know this comes off as "popular thing bad", but it truly baffles me when people praise this to the skies. My only explanation is most of the fans are either teenagers or have very limited worldview, or, likely, both. In any case, I've come to the conclusion that 99% of anime simply isn't for me, perhaps I just have an aversion to the genre.
One thing I forgot to say that's implicit in what I wrote is what
I'm really forcing myself to finish season 1 but I can't, everything is just so generic

There is absolutely no story, setting, or character to JJK, and because of this the action feels completely hollow and unengaging (to me at least). Compare literally any fight in JJK to something like Sasuke vs Itachi (the culmination of much turmoil and anguish for pretty much all the main characters of the story) and you'll see precisely what I mean.
It's great. I think the people who dislike it are simply trying to get the show to be something it isn't. People drone on and on about lack of plot, no cute girls, meaningless fights, etc - but the show is a spectacle at its core. It's not trying to tell a very deep story, but make no mistake that there is a story. But the show doesn't take the first 40 episodes to set up everything for the viewer like lesser Shonens do - it throws you into the fold much like how our main character is. It doesn't insult the audience by wasting time on fan service shit and cute girls doing cute things. This show really highlights the autism of anime fans - their complaints are so far removed from what a normal person would expect out of their entertainment.
Season 2 is way better than season 1, but this show blatantly rips off Naruto, Bleach, HxH. I mean Miwa is a copy of Nobunaga but girl in a suit (and the attack never works).
literally yes. I only finished s1 since I was watching it with friends, but season 2 is actually interesting. The movie isnt bad either, way more interesting main character
>very last episode was dogshit >same point at which the manga became dogshit >next season probably years away at this point, guaranteed to be dogshit if they dont change the story, which they won't
Something positive for jjk haters
>not for you
Not for anyone. Shading with black is a crime against humanity. Picking and choosing colors to properly shade with is for chads and not chinks
dont get me wrong jjk is way better, but I think it has a weaker start. Im far from a narutard but the land of waves was more interesting to me than the stupid junpei arc in jjk, i didnt care until todo finally showed up near the end of the season
Land of the waves is a shit arc, only real nice part is that you get to see Kakashi kick some ass, he doesn't do anything after that until he gets humiliated by Itachi like a scrub and then post time skip he's power crept and mid as frick in terms of power level. Anyway, I couldn't give two shits about Haku and Zabuza's gay little but that Junpei kid really didn't deserve those things hapening to him and the intro made it seem like he was going to stick around on either side. And what's his face, patchworkface is genuinly unnerving and you can't help but hate him.
I think I'll give season one a rewatch, now that I've read the whole manga and care about the characters way more. When I first saw it I liked Yuji but really didnt connect with most of the others and found the cast bloated.
Didn't feel all that bloated to me, characters get introduced in small groups at a time so you can decide if some of them look interesting or not. The fact that characters actually die helps with the bloat compared to say Bleach.

Thats why I didnt like the exchange event, we meet like 10 new characters and I only cared about 2 or 3 of them. You are totally right though, I like how there are actual stakes and weaker characters die. The culling games rule because all the weaker characters either died, gave up or are in support roles, while the stars get the chance to shine. I even like how some peoples powers are just used for their utility, like that little guy picking up the dead and wounded with Hakari's bf

Not yet. But some girl gave him a (clothed) handjob.

*Ahem*
Cope and Seethe.
Shut the frick up no class tranime Black person
anime is UGLY and for Black folk
it's kino simple as, i love the non-action scenes in this show
She has the same personality as Amy Klobuchar. B.I.T.C.H.
>woman is portrayed as a woman who gets filtered by kino
you got filtered by her getting filtered
not for you i guess, just stick to what you like and you should be ok
>not for you
Not for anyone. Shading with black is a crime against humanity. Picking and choosing colors to properly shade with is for chads and not chinks
>Not for anyone
i mean...i am not joking when i say probably hundreds of millions watch it but you do you king
Oh so you're and autist who can't handle a different art style. Got it. Opinion discarded.
Black person SHUT THE FRICK UP ITS UGLY
Every anime has the same muddy ass nasty BLACK colors
Anime has been aesthetically superior to anything made in the west for the past 20 years.
I can only feel sorry for you.
God anime is fricking hideous. No amount of pretending to have good animation will make up for the hideous colors and shading with black.
Episode 1.
Watts threads get instantly deleted, but tranime is ok. Another example of Jannies being troons
Wtf I love jannies now?
Jujustu Kaisen haters are the tryhardest of midwits.

Sukuna is handled way better than the Nine Tailed Fox.
It gets good once Gojo fights and dies against Sukuna. Stop watching anime and just read the manga, b***h.
When Goatjo dies
Why can't asiatics into natural dialogue or humor or human emotions or nuance of any sort?
They don't have souls, their Buddhist religion even affirms them not having souls.
