First time I heard homosexual on tv was the Dire Straits Money for Nothing video. >See the little homosexual with the earring and the make up >Yeah, buddy, that's his own hair >That little homosexual got his own jet airplane >That little homosexual, he's a millionaire
When did this episode come out? I know it's an early one, so that's like, early to mid 2000s. Granted these aren't sympathetic characters but that was probably the last era you could casually say homosexual without it being a huge deal
"This world can't tear me down", which released last year, is Italian but it had 'homosexual' and 'moron' multiple times in the English dub. they do puss out on saying the Black person word though and take a pretty strong pro-immigration stance
.
This season of Royal Crackers (which aired in January) also had a guy saying "Dicktards" in the premiere though I'm not sure that really counts.
While we're on the subject, anyone else notice that people in shows stopped saying "Rape" for some reason? I never was really under the impression that it was a slur somehow, even mainstream news still use the word.
>anyone else notice that people in shows stopped saying "Rape" for some reason?
It's a social faux pas and considered 'offensive' as if a victim's brain isn't capable of putting two and two together when someone says SA.
It might also be because some sexual assaults aren't considered "rape" similarly to how many controlling religious institutions aren't "cults".
You really think people would call out Doc Hammer for putting the word "homosexual" in his show?
Trannies got mad at RuPaul for having a "She-Mail" pun in RPDR so I don't doubt it. My ex used to love that crap don't fricking judge me
I think the Good Times reboot had one mention of the n word.
That's it.
Pretty soon even actual blood by blood homies will have their n word pass revoked.
Why are you offended 🙁
Taking into consideration it's vb, if they ever said Hispanic I'm sure I would die of laughter. Manolo was great, and that scene where Rusty was asking to some immigrants if they wanted to work in a science project was so funny.
“homosexualy elves” from Santa Claus in ATHF. It used to be aired uncensored too.

Sexy blue collar men should call me a gay more often <3
They say moron all the time.
moron's not a slur, moron. It's an actual scientific term.
context matters
you idiot
moron is a hateful word, we don’t use those slurs
no no word
Most insults used to be scientific terms. "moron" and "idiot" corresponded to specific ranges of IQ.
Yeah, and they censor "frick"
moron's a slur? That's moronic.
I remember South Park always used to have the word “gay” and “homosexual” in every episode
They had a whole episode around explaining that gay had evolved into a general purpose insult
I wonder if that rerun is banned now
there's a simpsons episode where nelson straight up calls skinner a troony
?t=24

season 1, 2004
You really think people would call out Doc Hammer for putting the word "homosexual" in his show?
I've seen more people call him based for saying homosexual. More people are mad about Hater
well, the people on the show who use those words aren't really meant to be role models anyway

Did they change how deleting posts work? I fricked up the spoiler tags and it won't let me delete even after waiting a couple minutes.
Gotta wait like half an hour or so

I've found the radio has increasingly been bleeping the words rape and prostitute
not cool

Probably when Abe called something moronic in the first episode of the Clone High revival
I watched the entirety of Metalocalypse last year and was surprised when I heard Nathan say the word troony. I don't remember the context, though.
one of the most contrived scenes in all of V Bros. i let it pass because the conclusion is funny

Ffff-homosexual
Do they still air this episode?
