You can get around it with make up. They had to do a lot when MGK played Tommy Lee in The Dirt. Then you have Billy Bob and Titus who just don't cover them up at all. Then you have Pete Davidson, who I'm pretty sure started getting rid of his because the roles he can get are characters not tatted head to toe and don't have the time and budget for makeup. Might be Mandela (shitty memory), but im pretty sure the Rock covers up his in some movies. Face tattoos would be an easy cover up. He just isn't an actor.
