Paths Of Glory is a solid 9+/10. Rewatched it recently, incredibly tight movie. Not a single line or scene wasted and one of the few "anti-war" movies that actually feels completely, genuinely and sincerely anti-war.
The discourse surrounding Eyes Wide Shut has really suffered due to the Shining "theorists" latching onto it so hard. Yeah, when I was 18, I thought the cult thing was ultra deep. The film is really about so much more than that though.
