He got to make 4 shows. That's already more than what the average artist gets. You've to be extra lucky to even get just 1 (one) greenlit.
I don't know, but I heard Craig was a bit of a dick and that people who worked for him was less than stellar. He's not a dick like John K. is but just not someone you would want to stick around with for a long time. In short, McCracken's attitude is probably the reason why he's not in Tartakovsky's shoes.
Genndy on the other hand is nice, and a pleasure to work with.

I want to get tropical with Genndy.
Genndy created action shows for a more mature audience whereas Craig only created kids' comedies. Also Genndy got into directing features (which does way more to establish a brand than making a show) whereas Craig has seemingly only ever shown interest in TV.
I may not have had the same success and love as Genndy but I am proud of all the works I have created and the fans of those works that motivate me to keep doing what I love. Plus, I'm fricking Lauren so eat shit.
When talking about Genndy, I always think of him as a true animator, who does a little bit of everything on a show, with Craig, I see him doing initial designs and writing a few episodes.

The sole reason why The PowerPuff Girls became a hit was because of the over-the-top violence, none of Craig's later work had the same violent bite of the original PPG (Netflix knew this)
