Twin Peaks Season 1 is a good gateway. After that I recommend his kinos in this order:
Mulholland Drive
Wild at Heart
Blue Velvet
The Straight Story
Lost Highway
Eraserhead
The Elephant Man
Inland Empire is not necessary, but go for it if you want.
The whole series of Twin Peaks is worth watching at least once, but there's a good 10 episodes in the middle of Season 2 that are tough to sit through unless you're stoned. But Season 3 is one of the best things he's ever done as an artist and Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me works as a standalone movie as well as a companion to the show. Don't recommend watching it until at least after finishing Season 2 Episode 9, but best to watch between Season 2 and 3.
The James subplot was pretty bad. The rest is just... yeah, it's alright. Not the best, which in contrast to the rest makes it look like dogshit, but it's entertaining still.
Super Nadine is pretty bad too. And Bobby trying to weasel his way into a job with Ben while Ben has a fever and plays toy soldiers is also hard to watch through second time
Checked and then some. OP you gotta watch Inland Empire too. Just maybe make sure you're sure you're into Lynch first since it's black-tar heroin level Lynch and probably not the safest place to start
Blue Velvet then watch a bit of twin peaks. If you wind up liking the weird shit in that show go on to mullholland drive and lost highway. If you REALLY like twin peaks then finish it and watch the third season (The Return). Third season is probably his best body of work if you wind up enjoying his more abstract shit like mullholland drive
>start
Eraserhead, his first film. Then watch Inland Empire because it is his best film. Then you are done with David Lunch. Watch Twin Peaks if you have a b***h over, guaranteed put-out. Thank me later,
Duces.
Twin Peaks is def a pussy magnet show. Not if you're like one of those gays who wears tv merch and talks about it all the time, then it has an equally opposite repellant effect. But if you just casually flip it on with a girl over you're good to go
Blue Velvet is probably his most accessible normie film
twin pies
The Cleveland Show
Underrated

The season two twin peaks episodes that are “bad” are mostly good besides a couple of boring subplots

Wild At Heart
His cameo in Dune was so distracting. He wasn't even acting, he was just being himself and it took me out of the movie.
Almost any but Dune, which is often regarded as not really his film anyway (and is why he declined to do Return of the Jedi)

Blue Velveeta or Mulholland Drive-thru
You don't. You start better filmmakers instead.
