>becomes a fan favourite despite only appearing in the first episode of the first season >showrunners have to bring him back for the second season
What are some other times this has happened?
It's not exactly the same but Mikhail from L O S T comes to mind, he was "killed" by the sonic perimeter fence in his first appearance, then came back later with the excuse that the fence wasn't set to 'lethal' and just incapacitated him.
Yeah me too, it's clear that it was written by fans of the material because while it's not a direct adaptation of the books, it did adapt the structure of the books, where the first one is a sci-fi story about the ghost of an alien trying to possess a time traveller to prevent his own death, and the second one is about the Norse gods being real and some advertising executives trying to take their powers from them
i still haven't seen a good breakdown of all the conspiracies shown in this. did they just fly over normies heads?
noone saw antivaxxers as a big deal back then so noone cares
the american version has schizos in the comments always saying it was cancelled cuz of ~~*them*~~
>antivaxxers
it's not just about the vaxx. it has masons, p2, milner group, club of rome, human experimentation, gof, all kinds of conspiracies are referenced

they only seem to green light remakes now, guess they were wanting to cash in on a cult show but their director just didn't get the style of the original and when someone told him it was a comedy he tried playing into that shitty American humor of like the office or park and rec which felt so contrasting in such a heavy paranoia thriller world of the original story.

Yes, he really elevates the movie, like The girl with all the gifts and White Lotus season 1. I am really mad with utopia ost.
Sometimes listen to this on loop for hours

It wasn't supposed to be a documentary
It's really sad that his show got cancelled. It had planned 4 seasons. I wonder what the other two would be about.

This was so good it wasn't even funny.
Remember when Fincher tried to do a remake?
