In hollywood, movies that do well financially relative to their budget generally get sequels. When a movie that costs 170 million, just to break even it would need about 425 million. Battle Angel only made 400 million, and most of it came from china, who only give up 25 percent instead of the usual foreign share of 40. Couple that with it only making 85 million in the US, it's not a mystery why this isn't going to be getting a follow up.

I love that they made her eyes large. It was way better decision than just boring "normal" sized eyes which are in literally every single movie. Only morons whine about it.

But then again, I wasn't bothered by the design of Sonic in the first reveal trailer, and I wasn't bothered by the cats in Cats. 100% not kidding.
My uncanny valley radar generally works well and reacts to the same things as it does for most of the population. So idk what's up with this, but *especially* with cats.
