>Evidence 01.
In full seriousness when you look at the space whales and the timeline the whole thing just screams "fake and gay" >>CE 15 >Glenn comes out as coordinator >Religious types declare it heretical >blue cosmos first forms >>CE 16 >Coordinators banned >Rich fricks do it anyway >CE 29 >Glen returns with a convenient space fossil >takes it to the zodiac research facility in space
Note zodiac signs would turn into the PLANTS and by extension Zaft, coordinators central >zodiac declares it's real bros >religious communities thrown in disarray
Most totally believable and extremely convenient coincidence I've ever seen from a group set on "advancing" humanity.

I don't really see how that would disprove anything, the majority of world religions (even monotheistic ones like Islam) make oblique reference to "other" forms of life or other worlds.
Some, like Hinduism or pre-Christian pagan faiths, state that very openly.
I remember reading about some sectors of Islam that actually consider ruling out other world life as impossible as heretical. The reason being, saying it's impossible would imply >Even if Allah wanted, it still wouldn't be
or >Allah couldn't do it, even for shits and giggles
or just putting limits on omnipotence in general.
>protestantism >Not actually Christianity
Protestant just means "not catholic". All the other sects, Baptist, Lutheran, Episcopalian, etc are all protestants, it refers to the protestant reformation that followed Martin Luther posting a list of 90+ things that were clearly corrupt about the catholic church and a lot of people started coming up with their own versions of how they thought a christian church should operate.
>someone who has no clue about Orthodox Christianity
Western Education sucks bigtime despite what your own historiographic/hagiographic apotheotic self-promotion.
Western Theology fell into Nominalism/Nihilism with Aquinas and earlier before that Sin with the sacking of Constantinople.
To Orthodox Christians, you all come off as some watered down cargo cult pretending to worship the Trinity in name only.

i'm on Team Odin, so i'm not really bothered by what you think of protestants. Also kinda funny that a line that starts off with "Western Education sucks bigtime" is a sentence fragment.
Just saiyan.

doesn't matter, you got it wrong.
Odin is a lesser diety; if you really want me to strip him down; a mere daimon; a Shadow of a Platonic Concept of All-Fatherhood.
He was weak.
Went down fast.

I don't think supernatural elements really invalidate hard sci-fi, Foundation is about a psychic clown mind controlling the universe but thats still considered as one of THE hard sci-fi series.
To be fair, the Mole and Second Foundation twists are generally where people lose interest in that series. Both are also from sequels, not the originals.
It's not that much of a step for Newtypes to emerge even in our reality.
I mean clearly there are people who even accounting for physical and mental ability, still seem to guess/predict better than others.
I mean, you play the same guys in FPSs vidya games long enough you start noticing/experiencing things that you can't really explain. Like how did you know someone was behind you without cheating? What instinct triggered that react to do a 180°?
Then you start talking with your clan mates in ernest and figure out that it's a battle of wills; like the wienerpit dissolves and it's just you and the enemies' wills. You can feel them wanting to win; what actions they want to take, what paths they'll take to get there.
I wish people talked about this stuff more on a high level.
What if this is Sci-Fi playing out in media res?
You say that but people in the 60s/70s actually believed that psychics and ghosts exist or at least could exist... The US and the Soviets actually researched psychics and espionage.
Either voluntarily abandoned by the public as the Federation was growing in the pre-UC to early UC period or outright banned and book burned to the radical elements in the Middle East and Africa. Scattered elements of religion still exist, from the Muslims in Africa to Melanie being a secret practicing israelite. Some pseudo Christian elements also seemed to remain as evidenced in Unicorn and there was also the south East Asian Buddhist elements. For the majority of humanity though, the government became their god. What feeds them? Government. What houses them, Government. What protects them? Government.

I remembered you guys.
Someone had to.
It was too beautiful...
In IGLOO, a god of death is portrayed. There's little reference to abrahamic god though. I infer this to say that there are powerful entities in the "newtype ghost realm" that are god-like in nature, extremely powerful newtype spirits. Opens alot of thought on deities and the actual nature of humanity's ascendance.

There's no God, only Gundam

Theres part of christianity that out right deny other planets and say that human lived with dinosaures soo
There's all sorts out there. No wonder people fought for millennia.
Not to mention Muhammed himself went to the moon and talked to the life form there, according to folk tales accepted as canon.

there's also Greek Orthodox and stuff like that who split from Rome before Luther made it trendy

There are Muslims in the desert arc. That boy with Cagalli is even named Ahmad
Wasn't part of the Zeon remnants basically Iraq in Unicorn?
>get told Gundam is hard sci-fi
>it's actually about space ghosts and people with super powers
Worst thing is that all ghost simp for feddies
I'm 90% sure this mindset is the result of people who watched 08th and 0083 decades ago and forgot most of it
I don't think supernatural elements really invalidate hard sci-fi, Foundation is about a psychic clown mind controlling the universe but thats still considered as one of THE hard sci-fi series.
space ghosts and newtypes are the least of the reasons why Gundam is not hard sci-fi.

Who ever said it was hard sci-fi?
Name a single on this person who actually thinks Gundam is hard sci fi.
moron
>gundam
>hard scifi
it's 70-80's Nip politic-driven space opera
newtypes are ackhtuaslly more plausible than the robots and minovsky particles
