This run down is pretty inaccurate. For example, the production intentionally set up challenges so Tayleigh had no chance of winning. Freeloaders Chris and Frank both gave TJ chips ao he could curse Tayleigh multiple times. Tayleigh wasn't allowed to use all of her chips to curse, nor use multiple curses a round. Challenges favored men's body compositional advantages, and, anytime Tayleigh won these, Sam said "actually lets do 2 out of 3." Trish was giving free fortune advice without charging Shinji chips, even taking him into the bathroom and telling him even more info. During some challenges, Sam targeted Tayleigh so she would lose first, for example, in the bow and arrow hunt challenge Sam walked around with a "knife" and followed Tayleigh and "stabbed her" so she was eliminated. On challenges where Tayleigh won she received 1 points. On challenges where TJ won he receieved 3, and one time even 5 points. Tayleigh lost points for winning challenges, like the MDE challenge. Then, to cap it off, production stood in front of cameras twice and talked about how to setup the rest of the night so TJ and Shinji were the final two, once in the hallway and once in the attic.
Another good one was the canoe challenge. They made Tayleigh hold an oar so that she couldn't properly hold onto the canoe, while Shinji and TJ didn't have to do this.

She only had one path to victory. Steal someone's chips and then go after the person who still had chips remaining. Tay curses Shinji, Shinji curses TJ. It would have been a lot closer if that had happened. It was really the only way either Shinji or Tay could win with how TJ did in the challenges.
Also, the biggest L was Shinji during the challenges. TJ is literally spastic. Tay is a woman and a lot of the challenges were physical (even though she did well and they seemed somewhat fair), but Shinji should have wiped the floor with them both.

Its the back half of the show that was this way, post-Jimmy there was basically zero fun moments from the cast just having a good time bullshitting and telling jokes. Once Tai left it was all malicious torturing shit like Tay locking Fatty into the Goon Cave or TJ yanking the blanket off Greg to frick with him. The final week basically didn't exist for content at all aside from Greg just being a funny weirdo the cast liked. Watching the live stream of the show after Trish eliminated was fricking awful, being in there must have been a special kind of mental torture via boredom.

I think production is tired. At first I thought the flooding stuff was a bit, but they kept talking about it... and I don't think it was. There probably was a lot of sickness that ran through the crew, and they probably felt like things were barely being kept together near the end.
I just want to see all four of the final fish hanging out outside of the tank for a bit. I feel like they at least owe us that with how badly the fumbled the finale.

Because they were getting fricking moronic, she was already in last place and they were still double cursing was entirely illogical, it was probably the FIRST time she went to production with an issue over the length of the show and it was purely from frustration at the situation. The changes to the NPC rules on day 2 fricked her over the most because it switched from being able to buy a single service from each NPC per turn to just buy one service per round, it just devolved into everyone buying curses over and over since it was the most effective thing on the board. When Tay was able to leverage her large stack of chips she started gaining ground because she purchased Brian one round who would walk around slowly and if he caught the person he would eliminate them from the challenge with a -1 point. She chose this on Shinji and cursed TJ in the same round. The next round Jet came in and changed the rules to one service per round.
She played the finale as best she could, its just that Jet refused to let TJ get eliminated over the course of the show multiple times and specifically from her antics with the make Chris cry challenge that bit her in the ass. If Jet didn't throw a lifeline to TJ the finale would have been Trish, Shinji, and Tay and likely Tay walks with the 50k since Shinji was far more burned out and exhausted in the finale than Tay was. TJ's injuries were the best thing that could have happened for him since it got him out of that fricking house for 6hrs two days during the final week and let him get a morale boost from just being outside with normal people and fresh air, he was in a deplorable state mentally when he did his artistic critique of the painting, probably in lower spirits than Shinji or Tay who were operating off of pure apathy or rage respectively.

During some challenges, Sam targeted Tayleigh so she would lose first, for example, in the bow and arrow hunt challenge Sam walked around with a "knife" and followed Tayleigh and "stabbed her" so she was eliminated. On challenges where Tayleigh won she received 1 points. On challenges where TJ won he receieved 3, and one time even 5 points. Tayleigh lost points for winning challenges, like the MDE challenge. Then, to cap it off, production stood in front of cameras twice and talked about how to setup the rest of the night so TJ and Shinji were the final two, once in the hallway and once in the attic.

Also, the biggest L was Shinji during the challenges. TJ is literally spastic. Tay is a woman and a lot of the challenges were physical (even though she did well and they seemed somewhat fair), but Shinji should have wiped the floor with them both.

Because they were getting fricking moronic, she was already in last place and they were still double cursing was entirely illogical, it was probably the FIRST time she went to production with an issue over the length of the show and it was purely from frustration at the situation. The changes to the NPC rules on day 2 fricked her over the most because it switched from being able to buy a single service from each NPC per turn to just buy one service per round, it just devolved into everyone buying curses over and over since it was the most effective thing on the board. When Tay was able to leverage her large stack of chips she started gaining ground because she purchased Brian one round who would walk around slowly and if he caught the person he would eliminate them from the challenge with a -1 point. She chose this on Shinji and cursed TJ in the same round. The next round Jet came in and changed the rules to one service per round.
She played the finale as best she could, its just that Jet refused to let TJ get eliminated over the course of the show multiple times and specifically from her antics with the make Chris cry challenge that bit her in the ass. If Jet didn't throw a lifeline to TJ the finale would have been Trish, Shinji, and Tay and likely Tay walks with the 50k since Shinji was far more burned out and exhausted in the finale than Tay was. TJ's injuries were the best thing that could have happened for him since it got him out of that fricking house for 6hrs two days during the final week and let him get a morale boost from just being outside with normal people and fresh air, he was in a deplorable state mentally when he did his artistic critique of the painting, probably in lower spirits than Shinji or Tay who were operating off of pure apathy or rage respectively.

He WANTS people to act like Tay in the show because it makes the show interesting, also to have a serious chance at winning, it was stuff Jet had done prior that made it impossible for her to win since none of her schemes were allowed to succeed through Jet's intervention. Sam was impressed with her all the way through the finale, he was beaming when he heard she stole TJ's chips that final night. She did exactly what Sam asked of her:

When the S1 cast realized that the way to win the baby challenge was to harm opposition babies it revealed of how Sam wants the show to operate. TJ and Shinji never did these kind of antics, even Trish was more active on that front. Sam obviously wanted the finale to be Shinji v Tay because he thinks Shinji is quite funny and Tay did exactly what he wanted to make the show entertaining, he was lauding Danye as well on this matter.
