Whether it's SoA, Ride with Norman Reedus, American MC, Stone Cold, or whatever else, it just hits right.

Whether it's SoA, Ride with Norman Reedus, American MC, Stone Cold, or whatever else, it just hits right. The ethos and aesthetic of motorcycle club (MC) content just works. Even when it's over the top, it's still down to Earth.

I don't think anyone reasonable is saying the situation isn't fricked. We're just saying that it doesn't make sense to shit on MC content because access to reasonably priced housing and upward economic and social mobility have been greatly diminished.

      >present reasonable appraisal of complex situation
      >immediately get dubs deuces

There really is something about the digits in the MC and MC adjacent content threads.

Interesting that pointing out how down to Earth the threads are immediately resulted in the most down to Earth dubs.

There's a weird social media phenomenon as boomers have aged where they collectively embraced these 20th century badass types and all adopted these fronts of "leave me alone I will kill you" all at the same time, all acknowledging one another. I wonder why. It's not like they actually will and most (all) are flabby geriatrics who have never been in a fight, what do they gain by dressing like bikers and shit

Say whatever you want about boomers. At least they know what their gender is. Also they knew how to make good films, tv series, and docuseries. The Golden Age of Entertainment is The Golden Age of the Boomer.

Thanks I do and I will, boomers are Black person loving hedonists who pulled up the ladder behind them and killed off a powerful comfy era of Western hegemon all for cheap shirts from Walmart, corn syrup and then medical intervention so they don't die from corn syrup

You're like the kind of person who can only hold one idea in his head at a time. If you can't appreciate the good parts of the boomers and their time then there's no reason to take your criticisms seriously. Your view is ahistorical, so it's no wonder you have no taste. More importantly, you have no respect.

If you think that boomers had agency in creating these problems, why don't you think that subsequent generations have agency in making them worse and creating additional problems? You're showing you don't understand macro systems.

                >you think that boomers had agency
Oh ok great so they aren't responsible for the bad but just the good how very very convenient
                >why don't you think that subsequent generations have agency in making them worse and creating additional problems?
Agency is not binary, you can only choose between so many things and boomers went out of their way to make sure their choices restricted others for their own benefit

Entertainment releases as individual products and as era-based movements are largely localized. That is to say that they are one offs even when forming a larger medium continuity. While these products undeniably bear the influences, and also go on to influence, social and economic trends and sources of power that can be criticized on their merits, conflating the admiration of boomer era media production with the assignment of generational culpability for negative political, social, and economic trends is misguided. The things that you are upset about are largely the result of top down design implemented by global international financial organizations and high level political bodies that are outside of how most people conceptualize governmental structure. Ascribing generational blame holds merit in some respects, but it's not sensible to focus or interpret the negative issues with "boomers" as the crux or cause of decline. It's far more sensible to say they made good media.

All of your incel angst would go away if you cracked the throttle on a rumbling vtwin on the open road with your brothers. But let me guess, you'd rather sit in your granny's basement watching steven crowder and crying about it on Cinemaphile. Heh.

Listen, junior - if you spent half as much time working as you do running your yap on Cinemaphile, you wouldn't be such an angry twerp blaming others for your problems. I suspect you have a vitamin D deficiency as well. Consider getting some sun each day for about 30 minutes.
