I liked the 80s mostly. Mostly because the special effects that wasn’t so invested in cgi but is also doesn’t look mostly crap. But the 50s was a great time for films. The 30s is a guilty pleasure for me. Bu I’ll stick with the 80s for my choice

I think Ninotchka and some USSR flicks are the only 30s films I've seen so I don't know where I'd rank it, anything you'd rec?
Films are better now than they've ever been with diverse characters and more inclusive stories. Film makers today have perfected the craft so everyone can enjoy it without feeling left out.
>handsome
The character isn't supposed to be a chad. In fact Mike Nichols literally cast Hoffman instead of Robert Redford because he was too handsome for the part
Nineties
It was the last gasp of actual creativity and the peak of American culture
The nineties had no good horror movies.
Horror is for females and children. It's a garbage genre that doesn't matter.
Wrong. Since the conception of film as a medium there has been horror. It's a pretty important genre for the medium.

watching movies that old is almost impossible for me. the lack of dopamine hits is just appalling
That's because you millennials and zoomers spend all your time on your iPhones watching Youtube and Tiktok videos.
