Rapunzel. Pascal and Max mogg all others

I'm not a fan of Ray and Raja is just a lamer Pascal.

I never understood the Ray hate. He's so pure.

The accent does him NO favors and the pining for a star thing is just...not interesting

      >Aurora
Cute animals and all but really no substance apart from the dance sequence they have with her
      >Jasmine
Raja is really bland and pointless, could have been removed from the movie entirely and nothing lost. Shame we can't count Abu or Iago because they're top tier
      >Snow White
The seven dwarves who are superior to her in every way. Definitely carry the film she's in. Easily the best as they're the only ones that outshine who they're side kicks for.
      >Ariel
Flounder is pretty standard in terms of timid but loyal sidekick but Sebastian is fabulous and provides the best damn songs in the movie. Top tier.
      >Pocahontas
Appreciate disney tried to stick with silent animal side kicks but Miko and Flick are pretty lame.
      >Merida
Wait does she even have a sidekick? Her horse? Her Siblings? Pretty low tier if I can't even bare to remember them
      >Tiana
Raymond and Louis are okay, serve their purpose, but they're obviously not the best aspect of the film. Kinda hard not to get upstaged by Naveen.
      >Rapunzel
Pascal sucks. If we count Maximus than she's got one of the best. Otherwise she's got one of the lamest.
      >Mulan
Proto donkey. Nuff said. Top tier
      >Moana
Uh... the chicken? Pig....? Water?.... frick her sidekicks are ass.
      >Belle
Entire mansion full of genuinely likable side characters that are entertaining without upstaging the main characters. Support the story, and provide some of the best songs. Easily the best of the best.
      >Cinderella
The mice are cool, supportive, and entertaining. Good choice but nowhere close to the best.

I'd argue the Three Good Fairies count for Aurora.

I think Aladdin would have been infinitely more fun if Shere Khan had taken the place of Raja.

      >helped bury most of the Hun army in an avalanche
      >finished off Shen Yu himself
Yeah, the fact that he's an actual character AND is more than capable of pulling his own weight makes him top tier.

Mushu mogs the frick out almost all other sidekicks and even some of the Princesses.

I didn’t realize how much Dreamworks aped him until i rewatched Mulan recently. No shame. They even got the same VA.

    This is hard.
    >I like Belles for being like humans and feeling intelligent and genuinely helpful, especially in her dark hours
    >Flounder wins for being the most “sidekick” of them all
    >huge fan of Raja because he’s the most animal-like and just a big kitty
    >Meeks and Flit can stand on their own and have the best banter non-verbal banter between eachother
    >Maximus is genuinely funny and there’s good comedy between him and Flynn

All I know is Tiana’s genuinely are the worst and all the animal mascot side characters weigh her movie down. I only like Juju and wish he’d have replaced Ray and Louis. Cute pink-eyed boa.

I would say Tiana is the animal mascot. It's funny how much promotional material is her dress dhe wears at the end, instead of being a frog which she was the majority of the film.

Definitely the dwarves. I especially liked the part where they ran a train on her.

Tiana, because since she was in frog-form they felt like equals rather than pets. Mulan and Aurora are the next that come to mind, but I still am not sure whether Cri-kee was really necessary or not.
