>While on a bender, Robert Downey Jr.

>While on a bender, Robert Downey Jr. was driving around with a trunk full of drugs and stopped by a Burger King to get something to eat. He took one bite and found the burger to be so disgusting that he had to stop and take a moment to seriously consider what he was doing with his life. Realizing that he needed to shape up and take responsibility for himself, he immediately drove to the ocean and threw out the drugs he'd just bought and proceeded to clean up his life. Downey had the Burger King products placed in the film to acknowledge how the company played a role in his getting healthy enough to play Tony Stark.

Both literally use custom designed perfumes to flavor their meat because the actual ingredients are lowest quality slop

there's something wrong with the way burger king franchises

they are inexplicably not open when they are supposed to be, have one of the drive through lanes closed by putting one of the dinner room chairs in front of it when it's peak hours, the dinner room is closed even though covid is over (????WTF), or you go in there at 1pm on a saturday and there is no one there and you have to stand at the counter for like 5 minutes before someone notices you

the last time I went to burger king it took like 20 minutes to make a couple double cheeseburgers, then when I get the bag at the pickup counter I had to check because they always forget shit and sure enough 2 sandwiches were missing. had to wait another minute for someone to notice me again until the guy wanders over and was like "wat u wan" and got me the rest of my sandwiches

This is my experience as well. BK used to be pretty decent in the 90s/00s but McDonald’s is much more efficient these days.

franchises are inherently shit these days because they're almost all run by regional groups with zero motivation to do anything beyond the bare minimum and mostly operate as a vehicle for fraud. In n Out is not particularly better than the others but being centrally run means it's waaaay more reliable in terms of quality and service.

Is it just my area or does Wendy's also suck now? More expensive and slow as frick.

It sucks. I noticed even regular restaurants the burgers suck. I think they just don’t have good cooks anymore

Bar in my neighborhood makes the best smash burger I’ve ever had and it’s only $11 for a real burger which is basically what a Big Mac costs by now.

If he had gone to Shake Shack he'd still be a homeless druggie because that shit is delicious.

Totally overrated slop that doesn’t live up to the hype.

Wendy's always sucked, you just never noticed for some reason. People who get fired from McDonald's go work at Wendy's.

Well it used to be much faster at least around here and Mcdonald's was the slow one. Now it's the other way around.

Sounds more like the issue is you live around too many Black folk. Obviously the quality of services will be massively lower

they have low standards for franchisees, they're trying a model of flooding the market with restaurants

    alcoholic here.
The burger wasn't disgusting, it's that when you're on a bender like that you can't taste anything. You're just chewing flavorless mush and feeling textures. Like bun folding and crumbling around or the flat waxiness of the cheese. No taste at all. Drunk foods are spicy foods, cause you can taste spice. Which further can mess up your body. Also, burger king has gotten much worse now, it used to be solid as frick back in the 00's
