Yeah my issue with the show is when they do come up with potentially nuanced situations, the USS Callister episode for example, thet often choose a side when they shouldnt. They should allow the situation open to interpretation instead of flat out telling the viewer what is right and wrong. A imple example is the gay street fighter one, is he gay or is he not gay? Should his wife actually be angry about it? The show doesnt really pick a side. As opposed to the Callister where the show portrays him as objectivly wrong and evil, when in reality there could be some interesting discussion on the nuances of that scenario.

100 percent agree. the callister episode should have been done from the perspective of the game characters solely. A cool ending would have been to have the characters find a way to download the player's consciousness into the game, disguised as a new character, where in he would then be a victim of his own cruelty, so that he now becomes an ally to help the characters escape the game in someway.
