I will never stop laughing over these dweeb weebs who keep going off this white supremacist angle
No. All Japanese people are the brown “shitskins” you all openly hate and you would genocide them if not told they were Japs beforehand for being “mutts”
>It's a "anon makes a false dichotomy and actively tries to misrepresent a side to make western animation look better" episode
Anon for the sake of everyone here please have a nice day, like seriously throw yourself off a bridge and end your progeny.
>Who did art better,
What exactly do you mean by art? Character design? if yes then 90s anime>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all cartoons and other anime periods and I bet most cartoon fans would agree.
Any arguments? Or are you one of those braindead teenagers who thinks he hit humanity's cultural jackpot because he watched Evangelion after having watched SpongeBob all his life, so now he feels inclined to defend anime online like an elitist douchebag?
Anime art is derivative. There is little in the ways of design variation when you force yourself to adhere to a heavy stylized, semi-realistic anatomy. Just because *you* can tell if something is a 90s anime or a 2020s anime doesn't change the fact that it has an "anime artstyle". You can cry about muh beanmouth or hannah barbara or whatever the frick you call those action figure cartoon artstyles, but those are all fads.
Cartoons in 10 years won't look like pickle and onion or summer camp island. On the other hand, in 10 years you will still have your seasonal moeblob sameface that costs pocket change to design and animate. And you will still come on a board for comics and cartoons and talk shit about how the crap your base your personality on is so much better than western cartoons because of whatever fricking coping mechanism you employ, thinking you'll change anybody's mind.
>Any arguments?
Yes firstly is funny thta you call anime derivative when cartoons are literally the most derivative medium. 95% of all cartoons are comedy. Imagine the hypocrisy of calling something else derivative when your medium not only is mostly the same shit but also has the same 10-20 guys working on it. In anime's history there have been so many directors with intricate styles and approaches compared to cartoons that it's laughable. A dezaki anime from the 70s has more originality than the entire american animation industry. >Anime art is derivative. Not even bothering with this since anyone can post charts over chart of unique looking anime. >And you will still come on a board for comics and cartoons and talk shit about how the crap your base your personality on is so much better than western cartoons because of whatever fricking coping mechanism you employ, thinking you'll change anybody's mind.
I think anime is superior in terms of directing but I will still come here for the 3% of cartoons that are actually great(and for nostalgia). Done.
I don't think you are stupid and yet I think you are a typical so-called ''racist'' that naturally see things through a typical western lens. it's not your fault because it's a structural problem of the world tho.
pic rel is the most common ''anime'' for the Japanese and there are many other anime that aren't trying to be like evangelion or haruhi and barely get attention in the west. you basically have no idea about them, do you?
>co still making anime vs cartoon threads cause they can't cope with how anime is mainstream now >meanwhile Cinemaphile on the other hand rarely ever brings up Cinemaphile
After israelites enslaved whites Japanese output was the best.
Nowadays most animation you see is made by Koreans. There's no innate reason your country couldn't have an animation studio but our misfortune who centrally plan our economies don't want it so it doesn't exist.
They both failed in different ways, but I’m biased and prefer cartoonier girls
anime.
I love anime women.
Most of these cartoons are from before 2010
It's literally over
It depends
anime is absolutely better. nobody cares about amerimutt cartoons
name me 1 good anime this season.
im a manga reader not watch anime so constantly. art is however shared in both media.
amerimutt shittoons are not even worth attention.
Name me one good cartoon for the past five years.
Arcane
Thank god you didn't ask for two.
Wtf is arcane
league of legends cartoon
He said a good cartoon.
Cinemaphile posters everybody
Primal
Sousou no Frieren
/thread
Dungeon Meshi
Frieren, Vinland Saga, jobless reincarnation, and for fellow perverts Gushing About Magical Girls. You picked a bad season to compare the two.
>Vinland Saga
Where my Constantinoble arc?
Only two of those came out this season.
Also.
>Vinland Saga
>"REVENGE BAD!!" : The anime
>Frieren
>Boring shit
Nah.
Dragon Ball Z reruns

>white supremacist angle
anon...
>Uses mutt meme unironically
>”I-im not racist!”
Nothing I hate more then compulsive liars playing dumb
Anon, you said white supremacist before, not racist.
Notice how they always compare anime characters from the same show but western characters from different shows
Literally all those shows have ended years, even decades ago.
>It's a "anon makes a false dichotomy and actively tries to misrepresent a side to make western animation look better" episode

Anime and cartoons can be done right and wrong, nothing about which one is better.
>top
>one show
>bottom
>50+ shows
Someone explain this strawman pls
>Who did art better,
What exactly do you mean by art? Character design? if yes then 90s anime>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all cartoons and other anime periods and I bet most cartoon fans would agree.
The answer is cartoons. Anime art is derivative. We really don't need yet another west vs east thread though.
You can bait harder than that.
Any arguments? Or are you one of those braindead teenagers who thinks he hit humanity's cultural jackpot because he watched Evangelion after having watched SpongeBob all his life, so now he feels inclined to defend anime online like an elitist douchebag?

They have their own strengths. I beat off to anime and watch cartoons
Japan did the cartoon artstyle better than the west.
Too angular for me
Of course, western anon.
Here, I bet this is more to your liking.
sometimes
you know, i find it crazy how Cinemaphile barely talks about astroboy
There are talks about Tezuka’s manga but the old and white one doesn’t even have subs and the remake was mostly watched by toonamigays.
Despite being the Grandfather of Manga, no one in the present day gives a shit about Tezuka or his works, sadly.
well, at least his memory lives in mlaatr. That's something, right?
too many words homie
have a nice day Black person.
I used to be a major weeb but I’m at a point where I can’t bring myself to watch anime or get invested in a manga series. Western media 4 lyfe
Kys amerishart
>dissing cultural phenomenon Shrek
Wtf is wrong with you
>Thinks Shrek is bad
Opinion discarded.
Anime is better and it's not even close.
Both can look good and bad. Don't bring this kind of argument with weak strawman picture
Why can't we appreciate both? Why do we have to pit two highly enjoyable animation styles against eachother?
>characters in one show have a similar style
Vs
>characters in different shows look different
You could of at least used a group shot from Gumball since it has wildly different designs in one show.
>co still making anime vs cartoon threads cause they can't cope with how anime is mainstream now
>meanwhile Cinemaphile on the other hand rarely ever brings up Cinemaphile
