Bourdain faked his death, as ordered to by his masters. His next role was to be a body double for Jeffrey Epstein, who was working with the Israeli Defense Ministry on a communications company known as Report Homeland Security (rebranded as Carbyne in 2018). However this ended abruptly when Epstein was charged with human trafficking and prostitution of minors.
Following Epstein's arrest and detainment, Bourdain was ordered to fill in for Epstein, as he made arrangements in preparation for the coming trial. It was only supposed to be for two days but Epstein never returned.
The events that transpired on the hours before Bourdain's death are not clear. It was reported that inmates heard the voices of two individuals arguing from within Epstein's cell but this could not be confirmed, as the video feed to the cellblock was lost when the prison server room was mysteriously flooded. What is known is that Bourdain was found dead in Epstein's cell; the medical report had determined he hung himself from a bunk bed that not even Danny Devito could reasonably hang himself from.
