I hardly watch anything from the west, its usually full of "diversity", homosexuals and troons.
where in the west can I find a humble, moral, hard-working character trying to better their life that I can unreservedly root for?
I'm watching a show right now (Do You Like Brahms) that has one of these, and the main setup of the show is a difficult love triangle that is patterned after a famous one in classical music, and there's plenty of little situational bits about classical music and foundations and the types of people that support it, all of which makes it a very interesting watch, and like I said, I have no qualms about hoping that the lead character succeeds.
I'm not getting that out of hollywood.
Western productions:

we're going to see a bunch of foreign shows and movie being pushed hard in the next couple of months because the strike will keep going and studios will need new content since most of their 2024 releases are being delayed
I still think it's weird how writers who have done nothing but sabotage TV and movie earnings with their woke crap think they deserve more money.
it sort of makes sense in a way - they're so self-obsessed with pushing their own views, why wouldn't they feel like they deserve more praise? I think this is what they call "malignant narcissism"
it's a perfect opportunity for casual audiences to see that foreign shows are so much better than americanslop full of identity politics, I know it will never happen but it would be great if studios dumped the writers and kept focusing on actual diverse shows from all over the world instead

Burgers can only blame the woke plague for losing market share and viewers. it is so incredibly unnatural and unpopular I will rather watch a bunch of korean crime dramas going deep into the nonsensical face mentality of bureaucratic asia or the hilarious overdramatization of first response call centers then anything that has come out of the wokewood in the last decade

I'm less disturbed by an all Asian cast in an Asian story than 50% darkies and brownies in a European story

i still watch some western cartoons because I am not that into anime, mostly stuff from my childhood and adolevense.
However my mom has completely given up from westerns media and just watched korean stuff because, according to her, the series have better stories without too much degeneracy and they try interesting concepts.
I even canceled Netflix because she doesn't use it anymore.

K-dramas are insanely bad. There's the odd 7/10 but I'v seen no better than that. When they're bad they're what my view of a Mexican soap opera is, and as a Brit that's solely from Arrested Development.
