Early years were some of the best late night tv I've ever seen such a shame he's a huge homosexual about things. >Ferguson
Came and went and I seriously miss the guy, I severely underestimated him at that time because nearly anybody was given some talk show.
Watching him made me understand why I was popular with girls. It was never intentional and I was completely oblivious, but that laid back, carefree posture and flirtatious snark reminded me of me. Not that it mattered, I was too stupid to get any pussy out of it.
>and guys could seriously learn a lot studying him
Be a tall, handsome Scottish man?
they are told by the publicists to flirt with him. he has talked about it himself. how dumb are you Black folk?

>I was popular with girls >didn't get any pussy out of it.
lol, shut up moron
Cavett was a smarmy homosexual. He did have some interesting interviews (Bette Davis comes to mind) but that is purely a function of the time in history he was working. He has a repugnant self-effacing personality.
Carson is the absolute greatest of all time. Letterman is also great. Watching old Tonight Show Carson interviews is enough to bear this out.
Letterman was okay, but he insisted upon himself a little too much during his early career. I agree that he's in second place behind Carson, but it's not close.
Like it or not but it's Conan, even when he turned into a huge gay he still towered over his competition.
Conan is terrible as a straight man and this is his Achilles heel. Carson could play it straight when the guest was being wacky or drunk but could also be clever as whip when it was called for.
Overall, Carson. For peak, Conan in the late 90s. Letterman's Top Ten was always good, as was Leno's news clippings. Ferguson was the GOAT for making every female guest wet.
Johnny Carson and it's not even close.
fippy bippy
Carson, Letterman, Norton, Conan and Ferguson were the only funny ones
Cavett was good too

Watching Ferguson with any female guest was always great. That guy was a pro at flirting with women and guys could seriously learn a lot studying him
Facts he was the smoothest out of all of them
>and guys could seriously learn a lot studying him

To think he started as playing a loud-mouthed American in Red Dwarf.

And I'm sure if they flirted with you you would be a cool as Craigie, rite?
Frick off, fatso
he's the best of the neutered era of late night. only virgins worship him as "le sex god". it's a dumb thing to fixate on.

>people born after carson died pretending they're fans of his
Gen x here who grew up staying up past my bedtime to watch the Carson show. Even at that age I knew it was something special. You could just tell.
That was fast
Of course
Second might be Dave, but to be honest, Dave kind of secretly sucked after he jumped networks.
OUTFOXED
Jay Leno has the same birthday as me
Colbert, Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon are all really funny, i watch them every day. You can always count on them for a laugh, it's just comfy, idk.
Coulda been Letterman had he not spent the last ten years destroying his legacy.
Norm Macdonald
even the talk show hosts would say Carson
Letterman.
The CBS orchestra was the best band by far as well.
Dick is da GOAT
Letterman
not shitty hack leno, thats for sure
John Melendez
Carson it’s not even a question 30 years on top
Like it or not but it's Conan, even when he turned into a huge gay he still towered over his competition.
Hey Now!
>You cannot be allowed to be Iron Man!
or whatever he said in that one scene
Graham Norton.
No one can touch 80s Letterman. Shits ridiculous
Respect the satan quintuplets. Game
Checkeded and respected.
Anybody who argues otherwise needs to take a long walk off a short pier.
Dick Cavett.
>letting guests talk for more than 3 seconds
Wouldn't fly today.
God imagine if he could see the state of the UK now.
