Literally no one
Local flea market has thousands for a dollar each, they collect dust
My brother does estate clean outs and he won’t even take them anymore, they go straight to a landfill
Me. We're cancelling our streaming and buying any kids dvd cheaper than a dollar. We have a little 10 month old and we're only raising him on classic Disney. We're not allowing the electric israelite to raise our children
>Who tf buys dvds?
I do.
If it's not available on blu-ray (or cheaper, that means you Criterion/Arrow) then dvd is the next best option.
Because, believe or not, there's still a ton of hard-to-find kinos that are only available in dvd format.
So it goes.
Long live dvd!
>I'll just spend my money on a streaming service which has the power to remove any movie I like by a whim
You think they will stop at changing Roald Dahl's books
Sometimes the packaging is better and the cost is significantly less. For example, I recently my bought a Boris Karloff & Bela Lugosi movie collection on dvd for $10.00. The same collection of movies on blu-ray is $50.00. It also has a flip try inside holding one of the dvds and is made better than the LOTR 4K boxset I have that broke to pieces and never holds any discs. Plus dvd looks decent on a player that upscales well.
me
How should I know moronic esl
me and I'm 20 years old
I buy boutique blu rays
I used to until I bought a new computer that didn't have a dvd tray

Me. They only cost about a dollar each.
I have been buying dvds and blu rays of the shows I really like and will rewatch. Most are pretty cheap nowadays.
people who don't want their favorite movies to be "updated for modern audiences"
My boomer dad bought a blu ray of pic rel because he’s a turbo boomer from Belfast
this movie felt like amateur hour, even his half-baked mystery movies from 30 years ago were more compelling. very disappointing.
>Who tf buys
morons
People who don't grab them from the neighbor's trash pile
Me because I feel bad not giving a cent to creators I like.
Frick bluray.
Me.

I don't have a BR player and second hand DVDs cost pennies
Autists with too much money. I know because I was one of them.
>I THINK DVDs SUCK
Literal autists who reminisce about opening logos. And yes, the best one is the Universal 75th Anniversary logo before Back to the Future 3.
>Literal autists who reminisce about opening logos.
I haven't head this one in so very long.
Japs, old people, collectors, enthusiasts.
Everyone apparently because they still outsell blu-rays and especially 4k discs.
I only buy 4K UHD.
I buy all my favourite kino on 4k / bluray
Blu rays are allegedly made of cut rate shitty plastic and have poorer longevity vs dvd even stored in ideal conditions
Third worlders I think
Third worlder here. Companies stopped releasing physical media in my country.
oof
then I've no idea
Where you from anon? I'm from Italy, which is not third world but we're getting there
