Me. I think it will be interesting really to see what Kirkman and his crew will do with Debbie when Nolan returrns. No way they can do what the comic did right?
By the way they changed Mark's reaction towards seeing his dad again, this time around Debbie definitely is NOT going to let Nolan off the hook that easy when they meet again
You got a point.
Anyway, how do you think this season will end? I think the last minute will be that moment when Conquest arrives and Mark gets angry. Then the season ends and we'll see them fight in season 3 episode 1 (remember that they have confirmed a voice actor for Conquest)
>Its more likely they focus on Mark helping rebuild Thraxa, then some Anissa, then some frickery from Angstrom
That's going to be handled like the comic a few seconds at most. Conquest caps the season for sure with a 2 episode ending.
>Read Invincible >Every time the story gets dull some random villain named dr. frickhead or something punches through a wall next page and starts a fight with superpowers >Watch Invincible >Grey lifeless backgrounds >Focuses on character with no powers for 5+ minutes >Montage with sad music starts >Fights are badly animated and happen once per 45 minute episode for 2-3 minutes of the runtime

This is the core of the problem with adapting pretty much anything into animation or a TV series. Action is expensive, animated or in live-action. That is why the bulk of comic adaptations tend to focus entirely on characters standing around talking to each other as much as possible and the actual action parts are few and far between.
What I call the "bored cameraman effect" is the worst offender, because almost every live-action drama does it. Literally nothing will be happening but characters standing around talking, so the camera will either be very slowly zooming in, or get shaky like someone is holding a camera without a stabilizer when it could have just been on a tripod.
Me, I'm genuinely interested in what's going on with her. What she's going through is adding some realism to the capeshit that I actually find endearing
You see, the problem is NOT secondary characters getting the spotlight. It's actually a good writing
The problems are:
1) Atrocious animation
2) 2.5 years of waiting for 4 fricking episodes (I don't count Eve one, because only ryona gays need it)
3) Overall pacing is trash, comic was fun because you can read 20-40 issues in one sitting, here you are getting spoonfed and barely anything happens (and when it does, it looks like crap)
Debbie's line should be balanced by other, more interesting, action-packed storylines, but they are going to milk this series so hard it will get cancelled mid-s4
Isn't even close. People watch Godzilla for, well, Godzilla. That's why that 2014 movie sucked ass.
Here? It's basically tv sitcom with a bit of super powers and gore thrown here and there. It NEEDS different characters to work, not just Mark and his dad
was that the muto bat thing one? im sure i went to the cinema and it was fricking lame. the other mothers after it actually had some cool scenes with kaijus
This is the downside of the 40 minute episodes. It worked in the first season because we got more time with Nolan and the world needed building. Now Nolan is gone for most of the season and everything is set up. They're struggling to fill time so Debbie gets an arc. This show really fell flat in season two. It doesn't function well without Omniman.
At least it's better than watching the nu-Guardians of the Globe
They misinterpreted why we meant when we said we wanted to see more of Debbie.
ill take it, i actually enjoy the debbie drama and its alot better than some of the filler in the comic isnt it
same
This. The Debbie plot was more entertaining than whatever the frick they were trying to do with Atom Eve in ep 4.

and its a good thing but i dont know how women work so maybe she will easily forgive him when shes stuck with oliver
monster girl general
Hottie. Her design is better here, and i hope her adult version also looks better than in the comic
I mean, I do want to see Debbie, but I do not want to see Debbie's clothes.
Ever.
Bros, don't spoil the comics for those who haven't read it...
the comic is older than people who browse this board more than likely

Conquest in 4 episodes?! Impossible.

Yes, but I was hoping it would be Debbie x Mark incest, and was left sorely disappointed.
I actually like the Debbie storyline. It’ll make the makeup sex arc she has with Nolan that much more better.
Me, I love her

god bless dr. frickhead
Just go watch anime if you want garbage action with no actual thought put into it
>actual thought put into it
>multiverse writing
>"It's in another galaxy,"
You may pick only 1.

We getting the next 4 episodes in february?
We don't know. Someone said in January, but I am not sure if this can be trusted
I did she’s a good character
>ITT people who watch Godzilla for the human characters
i like both shows, i didnt know the actor who played usagent was kurt russels son
needs more fricking kaijus though not some gay ice mole

The other characters fricking suck.

loving the season so far, I'm just kinda hoping at least we get the cameos during the Invincible War.
