If you didn't know, everything is adr. The footage you see in 99% of all Cinemaphile has all audio scrubbed, someone drags completely seperately recorded voice tracks or music or sfx onto it with a video editor. The audio recorded during filming is just a guide for the relative echo/reverb levels the editor should aim for to make it seem realistic, and to help the actors pace their line reads to help with lip syncing, it doesn't appear in the final cut.

the issue with Connor is it was garbage in because he can’t speak clearly and naturally. Booms and hidden bod mics captured his crap and they still needed to re trak in post/studio/ foley which was garbage again.
