I like how the Panini rip-off is the only character in this lineup with a sense of construction, but that’s probably because Mark traced her from another artist. Much like the Possum character

I think it's because he's a critic, specifically an online reviewer, that shows like this suck ass
They don't understand that even for projects that they hate, there has to be a certain amount of artistic drive that goes beyond simply wanting to be someone who made a cartoon. They think that they can intrinsically make something better than what they've seen by just removing what they think doesn't work, without trying to understand why the creators did what they did. They take a very straightforward approach that works well in making youtube videos meant to garner views because people want to be entertained. That approach doesn't work for media since creation can get very complicated very quickly
You know even from the character designs that the show isn't going to be anything even half-way decent. It won't have no material, it won't be funny or clever, it won't say anything interesting, it won't do anything new. It'll just be the same show you've seen a hundred times with a new coat of paint, and the paint doesn't even look good
