The cults plan all seems kind of silly, theyre just assuming that they wouldnt have told anyone where they were going, that the rental car wouldnt be noticed missing, that a highway camera would never have seen them, that their phones couldnt have been traced.
Midsommar is beautifully shot but it's so boring to rewatch. Hereditary has a lot of cool details you didn't pick up first time around but what I like about Aster's films are they long but it really doesn't feel like 3 hours have passed when you watch each of them
