That's a lie. An individual has no power to stop wrongdoing in democracy. The mindless cowardice of the mob prevails. Wrong is the standard that is enforced. As long as it's wrong it's in control. It's disgusting.
They are all morons who will do whatever they are told to. If they weren't around, society would collapse which would lead to bands of vigilantes enacting TND, which would lead us to either establishing a better society or being taken over by China.
This movie was head of it's time. I'm an Iraq war vet and sometimes I feel like I might end up in Rambo's situation. I'd hate to put a town through all that.
Damn, that's a shame. It could have been a kino war. What's stopping them? It's obvious they'll just take it by force, America will heckin denounce them on le news and the world will keep turning. Why aren't they moving on this?
>half of ukraine
like 16% lmao and at the costs of casualty rates well above america in vietnam
the real reason is that the chinks have bungled their economy and their military is filled with corruption as seen by the recent sackings, xi isn't in the position to make that gamble like he thought he was even in early 2022
China's never gonna bother a conventional invasion of Taiwan even if they were certain nobody would intervene, it's a far more difficult target than Ukraine and look how that's going. They might try to soft-power bully it a bit more but that's all.
I don't know why but I have a feeling they'll try something. All is fair game after Russia drew first blood, you had the Gaza shit, something's bound to pop off once that cools down.
If you were ever put into this situation you would be shot instantly. Not even by the Sheriff or the guy with the mustach, it would be that redhead cop.
Every time I watch a video of some foreigner traveling in America they make this same mistake. Yes you can't walk down major streets and highways. No it's nothing more than a safety issue.
>arrive in town >find out his last remaining friend from the service died the year before >Pretty hungry >get treated poorly for serving his country
Between the grief and the cop pushing his buttons, Rambo wasn't having it anymore and decided to push back. Then things escalated out of control, mainly because of the sadistic deputy.
>"Sir, you were scanned by one of our cameras as you were walking into town and your record showed that you have regularly been posting on an extremist message board posing as a highly decorated war veteran who apparently has very strong opinions about being "vaxxed". Also, according to your posts you have never had any intimate sexual contact with a woman. Is that correct, sir? You know we don't like guys like you in this town...chuds."
Rambo for not killing the cops. He had a duty to save his country and chose to shirk it becaise he was no longer paid for it. He should exist to kill cops.
He was right about how he felt but he handled the situation in the wrong way, it's easy to condamn teasle because he's ultimately a bad person especially when we know Rambo is a good character but you also have to understand people will always prioritize their own community, family, childre etc. Much in the same way I don't want rapefugees or strangers hanging around my area they didn't want some homeless vet hanging around theres.
>Al Pacino as John Rambo, more faithful to the book where he's a crazy vet with a beard who goes crazy and kills those small town cops in brutal ways and goes full scorched earth on them >is actually a provocative bastard and insults the cops and who wants to get into a fight and is mostly the one in the wrong in the novel
Kills me that Stallone is a fantastic actor but most of his career is action shlock, Granted he's had some great action movies but man, he's such a proven actor that it's kind of sad.
Stallone is miles better than any action star. He has written and directed classics and is a great actor and very intelligent with that working class charm and approach to the world. I feel like he got into a stride with action movies and you don't ruin a good thing so he didn't and kept on going but that scene in Rambo proves he's a fantastic performer. I'd wager his acting in that is more powerful than whoever the frick won the Oscar that year. It's made even better by the fact Rambo shows next to no emotion the whole movie and then lets it rip in that way in the finale. Great stuff.
>but Rocky went overboard in his response
The real problem is that at the time Vietnam war vets frequently being this traumatized wasn't common knowledge.
>arrive in town >cop instantly notices he looks like a guy who will cause trouble >tells him not to cause trouble >he causes trouble
The cop's judgement was 100% correct
What's with Stallone and doing an absolute masterpiece of a movie with Rocky and First Blood and then shit on it's legacy with incresingly more stupid sequels? And he even written them all too. Okay, First Blood was based on a book, but Rocky is written by himself only.
Primarily the cop, but (this is elaborated more in the book) rambo decides to do what he's doing out of spite, and constantly thinks of himself as being in the wrong, and tells himself that he doesn't need to do this (but does anyway)
>okay thanks, id appreciate the lift >roll credits
funny thing is pol was all up in arms when blm burned down towns over an injustice, but when rambo burns down a town and ruins hundreds of peoples livelyhoods, its "good"
ACAB
>ACAB
All LARP'er are pedos, and pedos should be shot on sight.
Because someone insulted a socialist profession?
>All Cons Are Bastards
I agree.
>help Hyde is trying to kill me! *calls FBI* ACAB! AAAAACAAAABB!
If you're not happy with the state of the government, you're free to dismantle it.
That's a lie. An individual has no power to stop wrongdoing in democracy. The mindless cowardice of the mob prevails. Wrong is the standard that is enforced. As long as it's wrong it's in control. It's disgusting.
Okay. I'm just gonna go to my local government offices and just dismantle them.
They are all morons who will do whatever they are told to. If they weren't around, society would collapse which would lead to bands of vigilantes enacting TND, which would lead us to either establishing a better society or being taken over by China.
>They are all morons who will do whatever they are told to
so, just like soldiers
yes.
>If they weren't around, society would collapse which would lead to bands of vigilantes enacting TND
so basically libertarianism
Yeah.
This movie was head of it's time. I'm an Iraq war vet and sometimes I feel like I might end up in Rambo's situation. I'd hate to put a town through all that.
>Getting PTSD from a war that only killed 4,431 Amerimutts
USA is fricked once the bodies hit the floor in a war with China.
Yeah it's gonna be pretty rough wading through rivers of basedsauce mountains of dead chinks.
Imagine it, Cotton Hill's fiddy men will seem trivial, there will be vets with an individual 1000+ killstreak.
Realistically, what are the chances of war with China over le taiwan by the end of this decade?
Zero
China will simply annex it just like Russia annexed half the Ukraine and everyone will do nothing
Damn, that's a shame. It could have been a kino war. What's stopping them? It's obvious they'll just take it by force, America will heckin denounce them on le news and the world will keep turning. Why aren't they moving on this?
because their navy is shit and they don't wanna lose money from America
>half of ukraine
like 16% lmao and at the costs of casualty rates well above america in vietnam
the real reason is that the chinks have bungled their economy and their military is filled with corruption as seen by the recent sackings, xi isn't in the position to make that gamble like he thought he was even in early 2022

I don't know why but I have a feeling they'll try something. All is fair game after Russia drew first blood, you had the Gaza shit, something's bound to pop off once that cools down.
Very low. China's economy without exports to the USA and the rest of the west would implode overnight. In a war, those exports disappear.
And from where else would we import that stuff from overnight?
That's just another reason it's not likely that a war will break out.
That would be a good thing in the long run. Sure it would hurt immediately but rebuilding industry should be happening anyway
If you were ever put into this situation you would be shot instantly. Not even by the Sheriff or the guy with the mustach, it would be that redhead cop.
>Iraq war vet
Wow why haven't you offed yourself yet zogbot? So many of your colleagues are doing it.
seething shitskin, shouldn't you be getting raped in the trenches in Ukraine?
"I said, thank you for your service!."
The cop was, but Rambo was dumb for not knowing better.
t. arrested twice for walking in America. to be honest though John Rambo is literally me.
why were you arrested twice for walking?
He's black
Unironically, walking in America is a red flag. Cops will think you're suspicious for walking alone.
>Cops will think you're suspicious for walking alone.
Then being a loser is the flag, not walking
>walking in the 1980s when you could buy a car for lessthan a hundred dollars
yeah it is pretty suspicious. it means your probably a mentally ill hobo, which rambo was.
100 bucks in the 80s was a big fricking deal, man.
>300$ in 2023 money
no, it wasn't. cars were ridiculously cheap in the 70s and 80s due to the used car market.
>Walk in America
>Get arrested
Was this the dude that the pig suplexed because he asked why he was being arrested?
Who was in the wrong?
> Got any idea Sir
> uh yeah, I duh habbee boydun sure uh bag pogid
> Thanks Sir, enjoy your stay in town
That's all Rocky had to do
Just comply.
>Don't be a wise guy, what the hell do you hunt with a knife?
>Name it.
>Don't be a wise guy, what the hell do you hunt with a knife?
>Wild pigs
How based would Rambo be if he said that?
Every time I watch a video of some foreigner traveling in America they make this same mistake. Yes you can't walk down major streets and highways. No it's nothing more than a safety issue.
Rambo was wrong, I mean if you go to where you're not wanted, why make it a point to stay?
>arrive in town
>find out his last remaining friend from the service died the year before
>Pretty hungry
>get treated poorly for serving his country
Between the grief and the cop pushing his buttons, Rambo wasn't having it anymore and decided to push back. Then things escalated out of control, mainly because of the sadistic deputy.
>get treated poorly for serving his country
what exactly did he do for his country besides eat up our hard earned tax dollars?
>le semantics autist
u haven't answered my question
Semantics arguments do not require this
still no answer
The guy lost the war and came home to make trouble, he should have been shot on sight
>"Sir, you were scanned by one of our cameras as you were walking into town and your record showed that you have regularly been posting on an extremist message board posing as a highly decorated war veteran who apparently has very strong opinions about being "vaxxed". Rambo for not killing the cops. He had a duty to save his country and chose to shirk it becaise he was no longer paid for it. He should exist to kill cops.
Rambo's buddy
He died before Rambo could visit him. Would have stayed put at the house, and not cross paths with Sheriff Tubbs
Rambo for refusing to wear a mask
the federal reserve
The state. For not giving proper care to people it has sent to a war.
>Who was in the wrong here?
imagine if Rambo was black, and he wasn't a veteran.. he was just an unhoused person... Whos side would you be on?
Chuds always simp for authority, unless it's the feds, then auth = le bad
if rambo was a chud id be on the cops side
the imperialists who had started that useless war
YOU SOUND LIKE A FRICKING asiatic BRO
The cops were meant to represent leftists right?
left or right is a false dichotomy (a lie for the masses)
the real divide is between freedom and authoritarianism
>the real divide is between freedom and authoritarianism
That's still left vs right
you are falling for the blatant lies
learn some modern history
I'm using modern history as my example
>you are falling for the blatant lies
>learn some modern history
the chudbot is malfunctioning
left is freedom, right is authoritarianism
Other way around.
>Other way around.
you realize how moronic you sound I hope.
democracy has its problems but it is freedom, chuddism is pure authoritarianism, which is not freedom.
No. It is the enemy if it. All govt is wrong. Anarchy is right.
You approve of it because as a snivelling coward it benefits you. It is the only way you can exist.
libertarianism or anarchy is anti freedom because the strong would eat the weak, freedom is quality
>Anarchy is right.
"Might is right" is at the far opposite end of the spectrum of freedom
No they had it right the first time. You just interpret freedom as "freedom from"
So the nonexistent vs the status quo? When the frick has freedom ever existed on this earth?
He was right about how he felt but he handled the situation in the wrong way, it's easy to condamn teasle because he's ultimately a bad person especially when we know Rambo is a good character but you also have to understand people will always prioritize their own community, family, childre etc. Much in the same way I don't want rapefugees or strangers hanging around my area they didn't want some homeless vet hanging around theres.
Maybe the real treasure was the cops he blasted along the way
>Who was in the wrong here?
Stallone for thinking he can act alongside Dennehy
>Al Pacino as John Rambo, more faithful to the book where he's a crazy vet with a beard who goes crazy and kills those small town cops in brutal ways and goes full scorched earth on them
>is actually a provocative bastard and insults the cops and who wants to get into a fight and is mostly the one in the wrong in the novel
I like the movie but the novel's too kino.
Kills me that Stallone is a fantastic actor but most of his career is action shlock, Granted he's had some great action movies but man, he's such a proven actor that it's kind of sad.

You've seen COPLAND?
We'll always have Nighthawks
the homeless vet scum. no one wants that in a peaceful small town. the sheriff was actually nice and patient with him at first.
Sheriff Rosco was wrong, but Rocky went overboard in his response killing all the other cops and blowing up the town.
>but Rocky went overboard in his response
The real problem is that at the time Vietnam war vets frequently being this traumatized wasn't common knowledge.
>arrive in town
>cop instantly notices he looks like a guy who will cause trouble
>tells him not to cause trouble
>he causes trouble
The cop's judgement was 100% correct
>tells him not to cause trouble
If that had been all the cop had done there wouldn't have been a movie.
What's with Stallone and doing an absolute masterpiece of a movie with Rocky and First Blood and then shit on it's legacy with incresingly more stupid sequels? And he even written them all too. Okay, First Blood was based on a book, but Rocky is written by himself only.
Rocky is a working class love story. The sequels are boxing movies. That's the difference.
we watchin da new one at kino dot tube
in reality...
>why are you wearin the mask son? You antifa?
Primarily the cop, but (this is elaborated more in the book) rambo decides to do what he's doing out of spite, and constantly thinks of himself as being in the wrong, and tells himself that he doesn't need to do this (but does anyway)
