It's really strange that it isn't. No DVDs either.

baffling. i wonder if there's some kind of weird licensing issue since it aired on two different channels, even though disney obviously owns both.
or maybe it's just a minefield of 21st century offenses

I mean they have a disclaimer before the movie and edited the song, so they could just have an annoying disclaimer before every fricking episode in the series?

the plant guy for failing to understand that all plants other than himself are NOT conscious, nor feel pain, and he's ... essentially "Anthropomorphizing" his garden. If the plants really did think and feel pain, but couldn't move or do anything, that would be a fricking torturous existence, and they should thank us for ending it.

and the humans for not bringing this fact up either, since it's so obvious. We would notice if things felt pain, and would be more merciful to them. there'd be bolt guns at cauliflower ranches so they could get a quick painless death.

Weren't there studies recently that show plants can communicate with each other?

There were studies that didn't say anything like that, but then click bait articles took, "sorta kinda analogous" to mean, "exactly the same thing as." Followed by people not understanding or reading the study and taking headlines as fact.

They absolutely do communicate through chemicals, can sense being touched, and some even have an extremely rudimentary form of vision from specialized stomas

Really - In what way do they communicate?

            I just said through chemicals

Could you be more specific perhaps? There's a lot of chemicals involved in a lot of different processes of living (and non-living) things that interact with one another, but are not communication.

If only there was some way you could access information from your very own computer without having to ask other people to spoonfeed you.

I am aware of how these things work. I am asking in what way you think this is equivalent to communication.
You are arguing that "chemicals" means communication. Releasing a chemical does not necessarily mean that an organism is communicating, unless you shift the definition of communication to be deliberately obtuse and generalized to include things beyond implicit or even explicit meaning of the word.

Human exceptionalism is exactly as wrong as anthropomorphism, you know.

I am not applying human exceptionalism though. Only positing that the interpretation they (or you) are using may not be wholly accurate.

I'd say those 2 are just as wrong as eating plants. Eat nothing, and die an ethical and virtuous person.

    Is that a fricking Ent?

Are there Ents in the Aladdin TV show?

He's kinda like an ent. He calls himself an artist and has the same sort of trope where he thinks all humans are evil.

There's not a lot of original story beats but it hits them pretty well in this episode. The cartoon really does well with villain of the week stuff. Some recurring, some not. It's pretty good overall and gets pretty creative and covers some neat varied mythology. Including a recurring Greek inventor genius villain.
