Who was the brain behind this scene?
Let's make Flanders a lonely widower who can't keep a wife alive a joke, cause it's not that funny it just make it more sad.

That was me
Sorry
Humor is subjective and Simpsons canon is extremely flexible, specially the future, even more than the past.
Comedy is tragedy plus time. Flash-forwards let you skip the math.
I found fricking Sneed
Third board top right corner.
>47 Wives
>all dead
>many of them are married in the present day of the show
man that presents a really grim picture of that timeline's Springfield where in a very short period of time do not only do a lot of the present day married couples either get divorced or the husbands die first, but then they keep marrying Flanders afterwards and die very soon afterwards all in a very short period of time* since except for Marge they're all identical to their present day designs(which yeah could just be handwaved as the animators being lazy but still)
*Flanders is canonically in his 60's in the present day, that future scene is presumably at most maybe 20 to 30 years in the future(depending on how well preserved Flanders is for his age)
man that is going to screw up the already tepid Shelbyville gene pool something hard...
>that future scene is presumably at most maybe 20 to 30 years in the future
45 years, actually.
>Flanders is canonically in his 60's
That's surprising, I assumed he was the same age as Homer, he looks pretty good for his age.
Isn't there a whole episode where the entire town is shocked by his older age?
I dunno, I haven't actually watched the Simpsons yet.
Family Guy had a similar episode
Did Homer kill them all?
Is that a fricking child on the middle left?
>Is that a fricking child on the middle left?
artists were lazy and just use the unaltered present day designs for everyone besides Marge for those pics
If you mean Maya, no, she's just a midget.
Oh! They brought her back to actually marry Moe but apparently the writers forgot about it because she never appeared again
Hey that was just Season 33, that's still pretty recent...
Okay, it's still somewhat relatively recent, I'm sure they'll bring her back at some point for the big wedding episode, and who knows if they'll follow through with that.
That's Maya. Moe's ex who's a dwarf/little person.
You can say 'midget' here, it's safe.
Hey no, I'm not a cruel hearted person.
But you are a troony so here we are
Would you date a dwarf?
The one with the pink bow look really young-young
She's not that young, just an Asian womanchild, she's Comic Book Guy's wife.
What everyone should be talking about is the picture of Shauna, the teenage daughter of Superintendent Chalmers, who's above Miss Hoover's picture.
>loser white guy marries an Asian chick
Is he really a loser if he gets to marry an Asian chick?
