Things started to head up when Viv got into the Helluva boss drama with Loona's VA and then when she melt down on critics of the show (By that point, they told her the test screens did really bad)
It's villanous case all over again: Cancelled but they will not say it.
Even if this is 'My uncle works at Nintendo' tier bullshit, this amount of silence makes me think this show might legitimately only see the light of day if someone leaks it.

Full of shit. What happened is that Max was going to distribute it, but they pulled out after Zaslav began being Zaslav, so the show doesn't have a place to go. It's finished but it's in distribution limbo. If nobody bites, which is very very likely, the episodes will probably eventually end up on Viv's YouTube channel. I have no clue if A24 is interested in making another season at all even if it does well wherever its released.
