dominion war, klingon civil war, and about a million other combat situations, plus he practices constantly, which is the main thing i think.
d'argo was locked in prison then spent years on the run and was never shown to have much i the way of resources to practice martial arts, while worf could spend all of his free time on the holodeck simulating real enemies
My ST is rustier than my Farscape, but I just don't see Worf being able to take on D'Argo, especially in hand to hand and especially with Luxan rage in play. Just an opinion of course, but to me, he'd tear Worf apart. I love Worf by the way.
Worf is basically the best named melee fighter in ST (pre-ENT, ENT sucks and so does the new stuff) to the point where the only fight I remember him losing is while he's in prison, injured, and after he's taken down multiple genetically engineered soldiers beforehand.
However, Star Trek is fairly grounded and he's not really portrayed as being anything more than a really skilled fighter in a universe where melee isn't that important.

That's what I was thinking. Farscape deals with beings that are a lot stronger, like Luxans and Scarrans. ST is a lot more grounded in its threats I suppose. I'd rather see a buddy cop team up than a fight anyhow.
D'Argo was in fights pretty much every week being on board Moya & usually against weird shit. He held off a frickton of skarans in a last stand. Dude can fight. Also see
