No, if you say the police come in guns blazing you mean they're literally firing. If you say you went into the cupcake business guns blazing then you probably just made a shit ton of cupcakes. Then maybe that dictionary definition might apply.
Context matters if you're going to be colloquial. In this instance, he described a group of heavily armed individuals in a situation where they might actually have needed to discharge their weapons. It wasn't like he said "and then the toddler came storming into daycare, guns blazing."
If a human being is traversing an area of ground scattered with the outer remnants of eggs, they are walking on eggshells.
"Walking on eggshells" is a metaphor for navigating something delicately, a poetic saying based on the above.
Now imagine you saw a guy traversing an area of ground scattered with the outer remnants of eggs. If you say "he is walking on eggshells", you aren't using that poetic/metaphorical expression, are you?
its more like someone walking somewhat carefully on eggshells and other people complaining that he has to literally be on his tippy toes for it to count
>Local man at gun range shot himself in the foot >Defendant convicted of animal abuse really screwed the pooch >Left fielder's criticisms of the umpire's ruling came way out of left field >The parapalegic at the buffet simply couldn't help himself >A surveillance drone was following the suspected terrorist, but then, in a flash, he was gone
Actually, certain terms can either be used in a literal sense or a hyperbolic sense. The origin of the term doesn't matter.
If someone said they "kicked the shit out of someone" and you responded with "they literally shat themselves?" they'd either think you were slow or trying to be funny.

I'm the guy you're replying to. What I mean is that cops are nothing more than the state's monopoly on violence. People have this mistaken belief that the police exist to protect them but that's been proven to not be true time and time again. A good example is Uvalde. They have no legal obligation to protect you, they are not your friends, they will shoot you, your family, your dog, without a second thought and they will face no punishment regardless of how unjustified their violence against you was.

When people argue in favour of disarming the populace and banning guns their argument often follows along the lines of "why do you need guns to protect yourself when you have the police to protect you"

True, but the "frick the police" attitude is ten times better than the "fellate the police" attitude. They're state mandated violent goons, nothing more. It's perfectly resonable to see them as a necessary evil, it's utterly moronic to see them as benevolent in any way shape or form.

I dunno, I’m my experience with cops you just act polite and co operate and they let you get on with your business. Then again I’m not American
One time I got pulled over at 2 am and the cop asked me if I’d been drinking, I said not that night and he said ok then let me go. Didn’t even breathalyse me
My guess after the fact is they have a cop car sat waiting on the outskirts of the inner city to stop random people leaving past midnight because they’re more likely to be drunk driving, and they didn’t bother breathalysing me because they didn’t smell anything and didn’t pull me over because I was driving badly to begin with

Being polite to the average person makes sense because it's a deliberate choice you're making to treat another person with the same respect you expect them to treat you with. Treating a cop with respect isn't a choice, you either treat them with respect or you face the brunt of state monopolized violence. It's not a choice to treat a cop with respect, it's an obligation. That's the difference. You treat them with respect or else. That's not really respect, that's bootlicking.
The difference is police are public officials. They're on record daily. They wear cameras on their chest now. And their paychecks aren't fat enough for them to acquiesce to some insane scenario of government brutality
And when their cameras and records show they did something wrong the state covers for them. How fricking naive are you? Who do you think it is that checks the veracity of the body cams? Who do you think it is that decides whether a cops actions were "justified" or not? The same fricking people that benefit from police violence.
>maintaining law and order is…LE BAD!!!

Having to justify to a government goon that you're not violating law and order at the threat of imprisonment or death is objectively bad, yes.

Where I live its a civilian council independent from the police. All the footage is automatically sent to them daily. They decide if actions were justified or not. Also the footage is made publicly available 30 days after an incident so there is public transparency

You're obliged to treat the badge and uniform with a minimum level of repect, for very good reasons which you are likely oblivious to.
Cops who fail in their obligations are guilty of a separate (and far more severe) offence, but that's a different matter altogether.

That's the basic way interactions with police go. But then you get people who want to act hard. People who think its an affront for police to stop them at all. Those people are the ones who escalate things unnecessarily until it leads to the police arresting them or worse. They turn a simple traffic ticket into a felony through their own actions

You're forgetting one thing that people like you always leave out. The police wont just go along with everything a "power hungry" government says. They're people to. They have brains. They realize when they're being told to step over a line. They're not robots who simply do as they're told. Thinking they are is a good way to demonize them. But they usually live near where they serve. People wont put up with them going over some totalitarian line and will show up at their house. They know that
Don't try and constantly paint them as a looming threat that needs to disappear for fear they might turn on us all. That's not their job

i'd actually say in my experience the vast majority of cops are decent or at least not outright evil
however, there are some actual sick freaks (maybe 5-10% of cops) who obviously go out looking to abuse and oppress and get off on the power and violence. those frickers get my ire, for sure
if you meet a cop and they don't say that they also hate cops, they are corrupt or moronic. there's a minority who wants to do the job, then power fantasy weirdoes, corrupt guys who were too pussy to go straight up criminal, etc.
if i had a family member become or even try and become a blue c**t i would torture them and murder them in the most horrifically brutal way imagineable and live stream it on the internet to serve as a warning for any man or women who ever even thinks of putting on that uniform
I think every time I see somebody complaining about cops in a non racial context (except feds of course you would have to be moronic not to hate feds) I sometimes start to feel slightly sympathetic until they inevitably slip up and reveal they just want to be able to do drugs
I thought it was fricked up how they shoot dogs until I became a delivery driver. I hate cops but at the same time, our wonderful diverse communities are filled with pitbulls that want to frick everyone's shit up. Any sane man would shoot these beasts if one was coming at him.

No, I recognise that guns blazing can mean giving something 110%. But you can't use it when there are literally guns that could be literally blazing. It's like a blacksmith going at something hammer and tongs.
Did you guys know that when people talk about "sending in the cavalry", or some variation thereof they're not actually talking about despatching a body of horse?
Good thing to know before you have another meltdown over someone using a turn of phrase you've never heard before.
Police use and carry guns. We see a news story almost every day of them using them on criminals. If you say police went in guns blazing then you damn well mean they're firing. That guy is an idiot, and he realized that when he tried to walk it back
You can't use the phrase about an army with a literal cavalry though
Guns blazing does not entail a physical gun being fired, fricking deal with it you autismal cretins.

guns don't blaze when you brandish them, they blaze when you fire them. you know why we use the verb "fire" when a gun is used? BECAUSE FRICKING FIRE COMES OUT OF THE BARREL ALONG WITH THE BULLET YOU FRICKING moronS.

"Guns blazing" is a group of people going in, firing.
It's not a momentary thing where soldiers pull out their weapons, there's a glint of light, and presumably some anime *schwing* noise. The "blazing" is an active, ongoing process. Firing the weapons.
>It's not a momentary thing where soldiers pull out their weapons, there's a glint of light, and presumably some anime *schwing* noise.
And that’s not what brandishing means either. Lmao I’m beginning to think most people here just don’t speak English as their first language
>soldiers pull out their weapons
Okay, a subtle difference. >soldiers, after pulling out their weapons, wave them about
Happy now, anon?
I can see that for someone "brandishing a knife" like if you met a mugger in a park and they had it to hand. Sure, they're brandishing a knife. But if you said >I walked into a park and a stranger brandished a knife
then I am interpreted that as >the stranger pulled out a knife >the stranger was then holding/waving/flourishing that knife
And I'm a descriptivist, not a prescriptivist. This just fits with how the term is used in English. The OED, the full version, based on the corpus, sums it up like this: >transitive. To flourish, wave about (a sword, spear, dart, club, or other manual weapon) by way of threat or display, or in preparation for action.
There's a subtle difference there. There are stages.

Friendly reminder that ever since the floyd riots, anarchists have been leaning heavily into coopting "right wing" and "bigoted" language in order to push anti police narratives.
Whether or not the police actually deserve it is up to you, but you should be aware of the intention behind many of these threads.
im white, upper middle class, far right, and that (most likely butthurt) black guy is completely right here. this phenomenon is so endemic that everyone from atheists to even christians in this economic level of society have silently acknowledged 'love' doesn't exist (at least from a woman to a man) and marriage is just existing with a partner you at best tolerate for the sake of your children. id rather die alone than accept that but most people dont have the fortitude and get hitched to some nobody and produce nothing children in turn.
>marrying someone is based on vibes and giggles
That sounds fine. If finding a partner means going down a checklist of least-objectionable prejudices handed down from your parents then that's just sad.

use your brain moron.
the expression "guns blazing" comes from the idea of someone literally running in firing their gun. Picture a dude kicking down a door and before the door even hits the floor, he's already firing shots off as rushes in. That's the idea behind "guns blazing."
The idiomatic use of the phrase which that dictionary lists comes from analogy/metaphor.
But when we are in a context where there are literal guns, the older, original meaning is going to be interpreted.

I remember reading he was a parent of one of the kids at the school actually.
>There exists a health medium between "frick da popo imma shoplift a gas station" and "yes sir officer sir whatever you say sir officer sir anything to help you sir officer sir"
the problem with this argument is that one is a real attitude carried by millions of democrats, and the other is a straw man you fabricated in your head.
Didn’t even breathalyse me
My guess after the fact is they have a cop car sat waiting on the outskirts of the inner city to stop random people leaving past midnight because they’re more likely to be drunk driving, and they didn’t bother breathalysing me because they didn’t smell anything and didn’t pull me over because I was driving badly to begin with
>I dunno, I’m my experience with cops you just act polite and co operate and they let you get on with your business
That's called ass-kissing, and it being a prerequisite to not being abused is exactly why you should hate cops.
I am also polite to the guy making my subway sandwich, I guess you and I just have different ideas of how people should reasonably act
Difference is if you choose not to be polite to the subway guy he doesn't have the legal right to kill you and get away with it with zero repurcussions.
He can put special sauce in your meal though
you are an antisocial moron
Being polite to the average person makes sense because it's a deliberate choice you're making to treat another person with the same respect you expect them to treat you with. Treating a cop with respect isn't a choice, you either treat them with respect or you face the brunt of state monopolized violence. It's not a choice to treat a cop with respect, it's an obligation. That's the difference. You treat them with respect or else. That's not really respect, that's bootlicking.
And when their cameras and records show they did something wrong the state covers for them. How fricking naive are you? Who do you think it is that checks the veracity of the body cams? Who do you think it is that decides whether a cops actions were "justified" or not? The same fricking people that benefit from police violence.
Having to justify to a government goon that you're not violating law and order at the threat of imprisonment or death is objectively bad, yes.
>Who do you think it is that checks the veracity of the body cams? Who do you think it is that decides whether a cops actions were "justified" or not?
Where I live its a civilian council independent from the police. All the footage is automatically sent to them daily. They decide if actions were justified or not. Also the footage is made publicly available 30 days after an incident so there is public transparency
Sounds socialist as frick.
Where do you live? Sounds really nice.
San Francisco
no
Dunwoody, GA
oh cool moving there rn hang on
>It's not a choice to treat a cop with respect, it's an obligation. That's the difference. You treat them with respect or else. That's not really respect, that's bootlicking.
>People who think its an affront for police to stop them at all
it is and you're objectively a homosexual cuck bootlicker if you think otherwise.
Show me on your body where the cop found the weed, anon
>maintaining law and order is…LE BAD!!!
frick you Black person
post hand
> They're not bad because of their individual personalities they're bad because of the very concept of what a cop is and what the occupation represents
what do you mean by this? What does the occupation represent? Keeping Black folk from destroying society and terrorizing innocent White families? Because thats actually based
basically they are bootlickers doing the bidding of elites, inflicting violence in exchange for a comfortable life, even on people who are trying to make the world better. points is they dont care they just do what they're told
>Le bootlocker
Reminder these libshits were literally kissing Black person boots during the riots
The epitome of a red herring
>Keeping Black folk from destroying society and terrorizing innocent White families?
How good a job are they doing? Considering that it's still happening with no end in sight? Stop being a bootlicker.
>Because thats actually based
if they did it, yes. but they dont.
You are all a bunch of leftoid Black person lovers. I can immediately tell someone that shits on cops is brown, they are like your mortal enemies
do society a favor and drop dead
>get 911 call
>go to wrong house
>shoot dog
PROTECT AND SERVE
GOOD…IM NOT SORRY YOUR SHITBULL Black person DOG GOT KILLED TERRELL, THOSE ABOMINATIONS SHOULD BE BANNED AND OUTLAWED ANYWAYS
>troony Schizo Non-Argument
cops = legalized violence of the state against its citizens
all it takes is one power hungry government to turn cops into living weapons against the people.
too many NPCs think it's good and normal to have a class of society that is allowed to go anywhere with a gun. the ideal setup is that every community should have its own peacemakers, not needing to rely on the state to achieve "justice" (which it never does)
You're forgetting one thing that people like you always leave out.
You have way too much faith in the moral integrity of the average person. All it takes for a good person to do bad things is a fat paycheck.
The difference is police are public officials. They're on record daily. They wear cameras on their chest now. And their paychecks aren't fat enough for them to acquiesce to some insane scenario of government brutality
> the ideal setup is that every community should have its own peacemakers, not needing to rely on the state to achieve "justice"
they do, they are called cops
Cops are the state, he said "not needing to rely on the state to achive justice"
>too many NPCs think it's good and normal to have a class of society that is allowed to go anywhere with a gun
everyone has the right to go anywhere with a gun, what are you talking about
>Keeping Black folk from destroying society and terrorizing innocent White families?
They actually do the opposite of that. Without the police and government they wouldn't be living in white countries full stop.
The police are the enforcers of the regime.
>Keeping Black folk from destroying society and terrorizing innocent White families?
If only they did that
>drew national scrutiny
But some dumb Black person ODs on Fent and half the country gets burned down.
Because unlike right wingers, left wingers know how to actually take action instead of just typing angry words on the internet and hoping things will change somehow
because the police actually enforce laws on the right wing, often doing entrapment operations to arrest them
This. Lefties get shit done while rightoids type mean comments on Cinemaphile.
t. Black person seething he got busted for Weed.
The officers truly did nothing wrong. The guy was whacked out on dope and had been waving firearms around like a maniac. Glad to hear the cop who had to put this animal down was given a retirement package and is living his life peacefully.
People also leave out the fact that the cop with the gun WASN'T the guy giving instructions.
Literally glad the cop got free retirement. He did what he was supposed to in a shit situation created by idiots that shouldn't have existed in the first place. He deserves that retirement in exchange for being harassed a by Antifa-homosexuals and I hope it just makes them seethe harder.
>People also leave out the fact that the cop with the gun WASN'T the guy giving instructions.
Funny how in all the years I've been hearing about the shaver case on here, I've never heard that part of it before.
because it's always a seething troony that brings him up
is that supposed to make it better? oh I guess he didn't exactly do what the cops wanted, he should die. what a fricking dumb argument. have a nice day
Maybe the guy with the gun should be giving the instructions then.
Or better yet, with the gun ready the guy giving instructions can walk over and do something useful instead.
>t. lets the traffic cop frick his wife to get out of a ticket and to "support the boys in blue"
No, your ridiculous strawman you made up to justify your seething at cops doesn't actually exist in real life.
You're the type to say the exact same thing after your 2 inch tall lap dog gets shot because the cop felt "threatened"
t. Lets Tyrone from BLM frick his wife for "reparations".
>herp de derp if ur not on one extreme you're on the other
none of that is true homosexual. the guy had literally nothing to do with the cops being called
i'd actually say in my experience the vast majority of cops are decent or at least not outright evil
however, there are some actual sick freaks (maybe 5-10% of cops) who obviously go out looking to abuse and oppress and get off on the power and violence. those frickers get my ire, for sure
5-10% is a lot, especially when they show up in packs and cover for each other absolutely.
if you meet a cop and they don't say that they also hate cops, they are corrupt or moronic. there's a minority who wants to do the job, then power fantasy weirdoes, corrupt guys who were too pussy to go straight up criminal, etc.
if i had a family member become or even try and become a blue c**t i would torture them and murder them in the most horrifically brutal way imagineable and live stream it on the internet to serve as a warning for any man or women who ever even thinks of putting on that uniform
t.
Don't worry, Tyrone. None of your family members will ever work.
Maybe try not being a Black person
I think every time I see somebody complaining about cops in a non racial context (except feds of course you would have to be moronic not to hate feds) I sometimes start to feel slightly sympathetic until they inevitably slip up and reveal they just want to be able to do drugs
I thought it was fricked up how they shoot dogs until I became a delivery driver. I hate cops but at the same time, our wonderful diverse communities are filled with pitbulls that want to frick everyone's shit up. Any sane man would shoot these beasts if one was coming at him.
They shoot more than just shitbulls
Le lab mix
Final solution to the shittbull problem when?
t. Manchildren who hate cops because they regularly get speeding tickets or because they were caught & taken home to their parents as teenagers after being caught drinking, spray painting or shoplifting.
Not recklessly driving? None of their business bootlicker.
Thanks for proving my point.
That's specifically the ATF, not the real police.
>muh dogs!
Americans are mentally ill.
OH GOD! ROBERT, GET DOWN!
Frick off amerimutt
A straight male. Federal offense. Life sentence minimum with no parole.
>straight white male
Cinemaphile poster cooming to the movie
he tried to sneak in snacks
god bless the brave police officers
He looks like my sister's ex
>*COUGH* FRICKING PIGS *COUGH*
>UH OH HOTDOG!
>cop with a shotgun.
100% garintee the issue was someone reported seeing a gun or someone reported someone threaten a shooting.yHRNY
It's bean bag gun, but yeah they wouldn't have walked in and grabbed him unless he made some threats outside or something like that.
The green on the shotgun indicates a beanbag shotgun. Probably nothing that serious if they only went in with that.
if they thought it'd be a shooting they would wait for swat to go in
No, I recognise that guns blazing can mean giving something 110%. But you can't use it when there are literally guns that could be literally blazing. It's like a blacksmith going at something hammer and tongs.
You telling me a blazing gun fit all these cops?
whats next? the cowboys came in with saddles blazing?
>I WAS ALLOWED TO BRING IN THESE CRAB LEGS! SOMEONE CALL ROBERT!
He was treated by the owner of the kinoplex.
I bet that guy was jerking off guns blazing so that's why the cops ran in armed with guns guns blazing.
The cops came in microwieners a-coomin'
>Damn it rookie you're starting fires the department can't put out
>Turn in your badge and blazing gun
Fapping to Sweedney
>Cops came in guns blazing
What compels people like on social media like this?
Did you guys know that when people talk about "sending in the cavalry", or some variation thereof they're not actually talking about despatching a body of horse?
Good thing to know before you have another meltdown over someone using a turn of phrase you've never heard before.
not the same since cops carry guns
Guns blazing does not entail a physical gun being fired, fricking deal with it you autismal cretins.
it comes to mind when you are talking about physical guns. you're the autistic one
He said they had their guns out and then went in guns blazing. Guns blazing means they're firing. This is not a hard concept to understand
Police use and carry guns. We see a news story almost every day of them using them on criminals. If you say police went in guns blazing then you damn well mean they're firing. That guy is an idiot, and he realized that when he tried to walk it back
But he said they did have them drawn. They were brandishing their weapons. In this case blazing means brandishing
yeah sure the sky is blue sure i said red but in this case red meant blue
guns don't blaze when you brandish them, they blaze when you fire them. you know why we use the verb "fire" when a gun is used? BECAUSE FRICKING FIRE COMES OUT OF THE BARREL ALONG WITH THE BULLET YOU FRICKING moronS.
hence : "guns blazing"
This
Guns blazing means you're firing them. Its that simple
this is factually incorrect and you know it. Stop moving the goalposts dude
But if you said
>I walked into a park and a stranger brandished a knife
then I am interpreted that as
>the stranger pulled out a knife
>the stranger was then holding/waving/flourishing that knife
And I'm a descriptivist, not a prescriptivist. This just fits with how the term is used in English. The OED, the full version, based on the corpus, sums it up like this:
>transitive. To flourish, wave about (a sword, spear, dart, club, or other manual weapon) by way of threat or display, or in preparation for action.
There's a subtle difference there. There are stages.
In fact wait a minute how the frick did we get here from 'blazing'? Blazing is transitive too. It's ongoing.
transitive verb means verb that acts on an object, doesn't have a relationship to tense
You can't use the phrase about an army with a literal cavalry though
If an army sent a divison somewhere and someone said “they sent the cavalry” you’d think they LITERALLY sent men on horses thoughever.
If you're a moron, sure.
>the Army's mounted division sent in the cavalry today
If I read that in a newspaper, you know what I'd believe happened?
Sure, if you made your living licking lead based paint off windows in a scheme to employ the terminally autistic you might take it literally.
But you wouldn't do that, would you?
I'm aware of what those words *can* mean. I'm also aware that when you use colloquialisms in a context where they could easily be taken literally, it's probably going to lead to some confusion.
Shut the frick up you little insolent homosexual, the english language has very little parameters and the actual definitions of things change all the time. Guns a blazing is commonly known as literal guns being used…you dumb fricking moron, I dont care what your pilpul dictionary says you fricking israelite
you are literally seething…holy shit
This guy is the one seething
>Everyone is an idiot except me
This is actually true in my case (I'm not the moron unfamiliar with context)
>american cops are known for using their guns too much (whether or not this is actually true is another story
>guy says cops came in guns blazing
>people act like people are moronic for thinking that the cops were firing their guns.
>american cops are known for using their guns too much
By who? homosexual leftists and third-worlders on Twitter?
>acorn drops
They're janitors who have to respond and deal with human trash. Often it leads to them opening fire. We all know its necessary. There are those who seem to think it isn't and horrible when they do. The rest of us know better. It would be nice if they didn't have to, but there are just too many buttholes who force them to
dumb homosexual ESLs don't know common english expressions and throw autistic fits. Many such cases. Sad!
probably an incel snuck in and tried to watch alone
this is the most bizarre shill campaign i have ever seen
>using "guns blazing" metaphorically and re-applying it to actual guns
Like telling someone in a burning building they're "on fire today".
how do you arrest somebody at a movie nobody went to?
with (one's) guns blazing Forcefully and with all of one's energy and a strong sense of urgency or purpose, especially when directed at an argument or problem that has angered or frustrated one.
yeah we know but that doesn't work in the context of literal physical guns
>movie is such shit they arrested the only guy who buys a ticket to throw him in the mental asylum
Kek
During the screening, someone in the audience rated it 1 star on rotten tomatoes
Single kinogoer! This is the NYPD! You are completely surrounded. Come out with your hands in the air right now!
>Me in the theater trying to get my $13.00 worth
When "guns blazing" is applied to a situation involving guns then those guns will be blazing.
Friendly reminder that ever since the floyd riots, anarchists have been leaning heavily into coopting "right wing" and "bigoted" language in order to push anti police narratives.
Whether or not the police actually deserve it is up to you, but you should be aware of the intention behind many of these threads.
probably the guy jacking off at Sydney Sweeney's breasts
The new nazi salute
Literal cult shit.
Leftists are braindead.
Shut yo asss up
im white, upper middle class, far right, and that (most likely butthurt) black guy is completely right here. this phenomenon is so endemic that everyone from atheists to even christians in this economic level of society have silently acknowledged 'love' doesn't exist (at least from a woman to a man) and marriage is just existing with a partner you at best tolerate for the sake of your children. id rather die alone than accept that but most people dont have the fortitude and get hitched to some nobody and produce nothing children in turn.
The world begins and ends with you.
>marrying someone is based on vibes and giggles
That sounds fine. If finding a partner means going down a checklist of least-objectionable prejudices handed down from your parents then that's just sad.
Imagine firing a napalm mortar into that. That would be so fricked up
Yea it would…
enjoy your fed visit
O nooooo
Reminder that these "people" were shrieking "Nazi" at anyone who didn't fall for the vaxscam
>Cinemaphile forgot waco and ruby ridge
I don't think people are talking about feds when they defend cops on Cinemaphile
there is no realistic context in which people known for having guns would do something "guns blazing" that did not actually involve those guns.
The designated shooter.
He's just doing his job! I bet they were circumventing the no singles policy.
They arrested Dakota Johnson, word is she was black out drunk and forcing some 14 year old boy to lick her pussy in the back row
Somebody tried to stop her and she started scratching the popcorn handler
pov: cops came in guns blazing
there was a cop in my hometown who used to pull over boys he thought was cute so he could get their name and add them on instagram later
lmao they really want this movie to be in the news for any reason huh
Jesus sends all bootlickers to hell, guns blazing
We're gonna fight demons? Based.
No you get to obey the orders of demons
It sure is "I got cited for speeding in a school zone" in here.
my boy, this peace is what all true police strive for
Actually I was dating a girl who was 16 and said she was 19 and her parents found out and ratted us out to the police, so show a little respect
>Ladies and Gentlemen, we're sorry to interrupt this screen of Madame Web but it appears someone has broken the no singles policy.
>The police are on the way, but until then please sound off row by row starting from the back.
>Boyfriend! Girlfriend! Boyfriend! Girlfriend!
>tfw the soundoff gets closer and closer to your row and people are glancing at you
The guy who snuck in, violating the no singles policy
Good thing it wasn't a casino, then all bets would be off.
underrated post
quite the dumper on officer shaniqua
should've taken everybody in the theater off to canada to be euthanized
>Panicked scenes following a bomb.
I read that at first as "buns glazing"
Writer for making a "racist" joke
Someone tipped them off that a single male was in attendance
i refuse to believe the screening had more than 2 people in it.
>My cousin Robert there at the stand said you needed a date, whyboy. You know the rules, no singles.
emergency gyattmaxxed temporary gf deployed
This thread has devolved into the most moronic semantic argument about nothing and that's really all that should have happened tbh
More interesting than madame web
Consider the following:
I think im a schizo cause the black lady cop turned her head and looked at me.
why did anons come into this thread guns blazing???
ai facial rec class x war-rant alert?
use your brain moron.
the expression "guns blazing" comes from the idea of someone literally running in firing their gun.
Are you ESL?
I always thought it was guns ablaze and not guns blazing
>And the Oscar for worst Cinemaphile thread goes to....
Yeah, and homosexual means bundle of sticks
So when I call you homosexual it means I'm call you a bundle of sticks right?
You're not that guy. You're just wrong.
Why are cops so aggressive?
someone tried to watch as a single
pretty impressive he got through most of the film
can't believe moron zoomers or ESLs ITT don't understand what "guns blazing" means
>it LITERALLY means they fired their guns!!!
>*posts dictionary entry, disproving this statement*
>uh...in this context the dictionary is wrong, because I say so!!
>12 hour old thread
>still have no idea why he was arrested
He was arrested for being black!
He shouted blazing in a crowded movie theater
He didn’t understand that in a certain context, an expression could be taken literally.
I hope they shot him (guns blazing)
No singles policy breach
He was the designated shooter and wasn't doing his job.
>Cinemaphile is now a bootlicker board
Impressive
Why were they shooting guns?
Is this normal in America
