One of my favorite activities is to visit the endless arcades around the multilayered Metropolis and analyze the games that don't exist in reality. Like i'd check out a candy cabinet game (before I even knew what "candy cabinet" even meant") while lucid dreaming and admire the aesthetics, physics, and lore of a platform game that never existed in our real reality (like a game the kinda has the feel of Metal Slug X and another game I learned was Metal Mech for NES, but was an entirely different game). I wake up and feel both in awe and at a humbling loss. I feel like I belong there but I'm stuck here.
It's an amazing feeling but then I'm sobered by real reality.
