It bugs me slightly that the orcs who hit Isildur apparently all shot from the same angle directly behind him despite him being in a river and them being on the shore, AND there being three of them. Those arrows should be sticking out at shallower and more disparate angles. This makes it look like he was executed by arrow firing squad from behind then dumped in the river.
1) to show the watcher that shits getting serious/cut to character screaming nooooo
2) after character has a badass 2nd burst of wind to show they're cool the second arrow is to scream at the watcher that the character isn't going to survive, because wounding a character once is enough but two times is unnecessary unless its going somewhere
3) to make the death quick and clean and dramatic instead of having them wriggle in agony for minutes bleeding out like a stuck pig.
