I bailed in Chibnall but Series 10 had tons of this shit. For example, the webm of Capaldi saying Jesus was black and London was filled with black people. I didn't watch it but supposedly Timeless Child was a retcon about the Doctor's history actually being about colonialist exploitation and the secret history of indigenous (black) people erased by white men. Throwing in trans ideology was not the huge leap that people are pretending.

The first act was legitimately good, the real problem was with the wishy washy way they handled the doc post regen, because he has no real flaws so there's no story there beyond asspull with the eye of harmony. The Y2K shit was stupid too. but the effects and atmosphere were all fine and his companion was hot and not a womansplainer so that automatically makes it better than nuWho.

in the movie they said 12 regenerations and 13 lives explictly. I've only seen the first two seasons from the sixties and the 1996 movie out of any of it.
