I’m gonna be honest because it really seems like my reputation has gotten way out of control - I really don’t even know how I feel about Hadel. I made the neopuritan graphics as a joke and I guess kind of a form of vent art because of all the anti-porn and astroturfing going on on Cinemaphile at the time, and I do think his politics suck and he’s kind of a shell of his former self creatively, but I still actively watch Oneyplays and think he’s really funny. When I made the graphics, I had no idea that I was tapping into an existing discourse. I didn’t know who Industrycuck or Ihatesmilingfriends or any of the other named goofballs were, I didn’t know that people would take me seriously to the point of some autistic psychos thinking I’m actually going to try to hurt him or ruin his life. It’s just fricking exhausting, especially with how moronic everyone acts around it. I’ve legitimately moved on with my life, and the only reason I’m still here talking about it in any capacity is because I’m trying to understand what the frick is going on.

I can agree with some of the points, but like I've said before, the portrayal of Shrimp ended up not being designed to mock him, his love and obsession over mouse quest is what got him a girl friend in the end, he didn't need to change to a bro to do it.
