This is actually pretty important thing to consider on why Pixar is failing
Cramer is a normalgay. His opinion represents normalgays on animation
They think it looks cheap and tacky. Doesn't matter how many "animation twitter" gays claim it has more frames or how intricate it is, normalgays thinks it looks poor quality so they won't watch, and you can laugh at them all you want but they make shit like this bomb
1. Wokeness. The movie is full of cringe racism scenes. And is about interracial relationship. They have to defend the movie for its progressive message.
2. The director is Asian. Heck, the movie is pretty much an autobiography (to the point that he put his dying grandma asking him to marry Korean in the movie). Twitter is very protective of Asian Americans. And with Disney firing hundreds already (including the Lightyear director), they want to protect the Asian director (even though he probably should be fired since this is his second bomb after The Good Dinosaur).
I've seen leftists complaining about the movie too, saying it's pushing an "old world values bad/cultural assimilation" message.
Nobody fricking likes this movie.
I don't care enough to look for the full criticism, but "it's as primitive as Steamboat Willie" can be a completely moronic thing to say if it was said in a technical context. Without knowing the full story, I don't see anyone vehemently defending anything, I only see someone defending the arguably only good thing about the movie from what seems to be a completely moronic criticism. Since you didn't bother providing any context, I'll just assume that that's exactly what happened and this is the only tweet you could find to support a vehement defense that simply doesn't exist, so I'll just laugh at you.
Elemental is just kinda mediocre. For a lot of journalists and public figures in the industry, they've got young kids and will gladly give Pixar a pass on a mid romantic comedy.
Every single time people discuss movies in theaters flopping right now they conveniently forget one is doing very well. The answers are right in front of you.
Because its unironically the most wokeshit animated feature so far; two hours of an asian seething over white people thinly veiled with water and fire.
Also, the non-binary character.
>Elemental’s as primitive as Steamboat Willie
You try making a cartoon with sound in the 1920s before using Steamboat Willie as your baseline for bad animation.
cause most people are too emotional immature to separate a Brand from the products they produce so they take any negative reaction to a Brand they love (and that much attachment to a brand is another sign of immaturity) as a personal assault on them
>Jim Cramer shits on Elemental
Elementalbros... we won. Elementillion box office is ours.
first time witnessing damage control?

No he isn't, do you think this guy went to movie theatre in the last 10 years?
>His opinion represents normalgays on animation
One fricking guy is not a representative population.
I mean, he’s right. It is old and it isn’t interesting.

I did.
Ah yes it's the

Defense.
As always.

It’s a shame.
The lead actress plays a sexy Asian tomboy on Nancy Drew on the CW.
I’m really want to support her.
I mean Jim Cramer is consistently wrong about pretty much everything but I’ll give him this, he’s right about pixar
