I think it will be pretty good. It's just that I'm not a huge fan of it being in the same style as Fury Road. I completely understand why that would be the obvious route to go, but I think the length of time between the two movies could have given them an opportunity to go with a different look.
I am forever seething that Miller didn't get to do a Superman movie, and we were stuck with Snyderslop.
Let's set aside my usual seething about cultural war stuff - Furiosa is atrocius character.
What did she actually do? She betrayed men who trusted her, and since then she was entirely carried by Max. Her plan was shit, and basically would get their incompetent group killed if Max didn't take pity on them. Then he won the battle and handed the town she ran away from to her.
There is nothing about this character I want to see more of.
Without Gibson, Miller went on to treat it as a cinematic world where anything might happen instead of committing to one character making their own destiny. In fact he seems to disavow a hero's journey with white Australian guilt.
>Why are people writing off FURIOSA?
Who is writing this movie off?
What does "writing off" consist of?
What the frick are you talking about, nobody really has much of an opinion one way or another, stop baselessly swaying public opinion.
The internet and this website are strange places, and most times not at all reflective of the actual reality/world we live in.
My ex cosplayed as Furiosa (badly) and I don't want to see this movie because it reminds me of her and her antics. Wherever she is, she's going to be insufferable around Halloween this year, I just know it.
He missed more than once, his previous movie (Three Thousand Years of Longing) flopped hard and Fury Road was a purely visual phenomenon, the plot itself is ludicrous, and Furiosa looks much worse with shitty CGI and a dubious approach.
He's literally missed every single time
Women are boring.
>Ayyyna Taylor-Joy
>Chris "this movie bombs" hemsworth
no idea

If it had literally any other actress as a lead I would go see it in the theatre
I'm not interested in spinoffs.

>Chris Hemsworth
it's gonna sucks

Fury Road sucked
terrible miscast, that's all
Should have been a sequel. Max is the compelling force in Fury Road.
Max was a literal non-character in Fury Road. The movie wouldn't have been any different if he didn't exist.
This. Furiosa would have escaped with the Brides even without Max's help, and then she would have been able to siege the Citadel.
>The movie wouldn't have been any different if he didn't exist.
the c**t team would had gotten blasted by those coons with the dirt bikes without max
You could say the same thing for every Max movie outside the first oe. He shows up, where stuff is already happening, kind of helps out, leaves.
Holy fricking shit that is hilarious giving vibes of one of the fake movie adds from tropic thunder
> The journey of an angry vegana through the desert.
> compare this to Waterworld
> the journey of an angry penis through the ocean
At least Costner had frickable gill slits on display
Just look at it, its super cartoonish, talk about flanderized
Is Thor the villain?
It's another attempt to make a franchise about a strong wahmen rather than the original character.
Still going to watch it. I stopped caring about Cinemaphile's opinion when I discovered that they don't actually watch movies.
I will never in a million years be able to take Anya Taylor-Joy seriously as an action star.
havent seen any trailers, but pretty hyped. just hope that miller will still have the energy to give us another mad max
>mad max
>no mad max
>instead a woman trying to be intimidating
Women arent badasses, sorry to say, not for me. If i watch a movie for a woman its because shes sexy.
My ex cosplayed as Furiosa (badly) and I don't want to see this movie because it reminds me of her and her antics. Wherever she is, she's going to be insufferable around Halloween this year, I just know it.
Anyone who watched Fury Road already know what happens
100% chance its a girl boss character. This is box office poison.
>George Miller literally never misses.
>Babe Pig in the City
>Happy Feet
>Mad Max 1
>Mad Max 3
He misses more than he hits lol

Happy Feet wone.
is literally looks like a shitty Snyder movie.
>C'mon guise! It's Mad Max, but with a stronk womyn!
Frick off.
this is a better poster than the one from a couple days ago, the background characters are too small and hemsworth needs to be smaller as well
I think the casting is absolutely terrible, I'll still watch it.
if anyone can make this work then its george miller
>the story of how she got sand in her vegana
no thanks
Because this isn't a movie he wanted to make, so he'll cut corners and half-ass it in every way he didn't for Fury Road.
Fury road had cool effects and stunts but as a movie it sucked
