>globally third most watched Netflix show this year
I'm stillad she didnt end with the hot old guy instead of the boring kid that looked like he could be her son lol
i blame the men
Revenge of Others
>Korean
>character named Park
>Character is named Dong
Park asiatic Die
the motivations of men in kdramas make ZERO sense.
It's not that different from americans
they're written by femoids, for femoids
of course they don't make sense, the writers don't understand men
i was enjoying the furk out of it until the ending. ending just made me ???????
What ending are you talking about? It hasn't ended.
oh. okay, ep 9 is not the ending, ok.
well i still want Lee Jae Wook to swoop in and take Bae Suzy as his girl and have them make out for a whole episode. Nothing but tongue wrestling and throat sambo for 40 minutes
>Park So-dam
Is actually mid
Yeye
cute mid though
can this be the kdrama thread? just binged Doona! and the ending and the dude was stinky.
the build up and beginning was great. but the ending suk
This is the k drama thread.
I heard Donna ending suck as well. It's the reason why I didn't watch it.
Did you watch Donna for Bae Suzy?
i watched Doona! to satisfy my craving to binge watch a show. i went into it completely blind.
but yea, Bae Suzy was instant "oh hot dam" tier. the dude not so much, i had a mild disconnect everytime i saw his face (what is she even doing with him, etc).
the producer guy in the show is handsome tho
why do these kpop b***hes all literally look the same?
what, skinny, gorgeous and eyecandy to my vision?
i need more tsundere Korean women dramas
I watch for her
she's from the Glory, watched that a year back. yeah she's good.
she isn't tsundere, just straight up borderline cray
her new show and first lead role is a dud and she's really not great in it
i'd worry for her career
She can be my wife so that’s okay
She was fricking great in The Glory, her acting really surprised me, you could tell she was a bully that knew she got too many good things (rich husband, good daughter)
What show
I love evil women
The Glory
Is that Mistress Youko? Wait no it's not. I've had that ad for days. She feels her butt in latex.
He cute
She's an entitled bipolar chick and you guys just simp for her pretty face.
t. objective dude
just like Amber heard
kek you got filtered
Doona is the perfect drama to filter brainlets because the overt ending is "duh duh they broke up and they never get back together"
While the actual ending shown in pre/post scenes is that they got back together and kept their relationship a secret
this is headcanon. the guy doesnt make any sense while Doona serves him with a silver platter
The series ends with them in japan at the same hotel
In the pre/post credit scenes you see each one passing some train tracks in the middle of nowhere, with signs in japanese
Then they meet alone in some park wearing the same things they were wearing at the convention where the series ended
This is quite literally the opposite of "headcanon". It's literally shown to you
>but the ending suk
Are you moronic? It was legit perfect.
Doona was so fricking hot.
no the ending suk; the dude made no sense.
>"lemme just hurt myself and hurt Doona because...????"
this is where i blank, as a dude.
They go together you fricking tardo. They just did it in secret.
no they dont. thats str8 headcanon. he apologizes yeah, but WHY did he even need to break up in the first place - this is where i ??????
You're a legit moron
>the build up and beginning was great. but the ending suk
That's literally 99% of Kdramas bruh
recent one i watched that was like this was Reborn Rich
EP 1-15 = KINO
EP 16 = lmao
I might be late to the party with this but I'm pretty sure all kdramas have bitter endings. I've seen about 6 now and none of them have ever had a perfectly "happy" ending. Maybe it's a cultural thing.
The whole reason why I like korean movies is because a lot of them have non-happy endings. It's a refreshing contrast to Hollywood where 9/10 movies must have a "and they lived happily ever after" ending.
If you want a comfy kkino with a happy ending but isn't very saccharine try It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
This was great. It ticked fetishes I didn't even know I had.
>female childhood friend rediscovers MC years later and wants to seduce him but he just wants to take care of his brother
childhood friend rediscovers MC years later and wants to seduce him
Recommend more like this pls
Koreans are extremely competitive
They decided their favorite things in America were soap operas and fried chicken.
They chose wisely, the American king was slumbering at both. Any motivated upstarts could’ve taken the crown, Korea was just first to grab.
all right Black folk, since yall have your noses up their asses name better than the worst season of true detective. walk the walk.
what are you saying homie? Do you true detective style of shows?
>Mouse

like, slightly above average dudes treating hottie women like that...
man. as an incel in Amurica it's just so mind boggling.
The way you type tells me you gobble wiener regularly
i bench press 225 lbs for reps of 4 at under 175 lbs.
Could still be gay t b h
how does this dude get so much luck handed to him? i get that it's a fictional tv show but still.
No Black folk, so they must resort to fantasy to create conflict in their stories.
these mofos just take being surrounded by hot Korean women for granted, lucky mofos. i am an incel in Amurica
Korea is one of the most fricked up societies on earth. No wonder they're all thinking about revenge.
lads..I'm deflated
I only see IU in that pic, I'm engorged.
>Dude in his forties gets together with a younger woman
Who writes these stories.
They don't get together. That's one of the reasons My Mister is one of the better kdramas.
Despite his wife cheating on him with a younger guy?!
They will never be a better friendship story than my mister
it's over, they tried to recycle that storyline a few times since and it's been a miserable failure every time
Awful middle aged womens fantasy shmaltz.
>Oh gee wouldn't it be great if a handsome older man would buy you food and then you could just tell him to frick off without putting out, and he would just return to buy you more food again the next day, and he wouldn't mind if you stole his mail, tapped his phone, and fricked with his marriage and his career because boo hoo life is hard and we're all in it together!
I can't believe how insane that show was.
>Oh gee wouldn't it be great if a handsome older man would buy you food and then you could just tell him to frick off without putting out,
That's what you got from the show? Imagine being this much of a mentally ill loser holy shit
>smoke some weed
>career destroyed
>death via bbq briquette
a fitting way to go for a korean tbh
Man I haven't seen parayte but the dude was really good in this. RIP
I just watched this show a month or so ago and loved it so much. Its going to hurt to watch something like this again after this guy's death. It's the same way that Robin Williams offing himself really made his movies sting since a lot of them were sentimental/emotional and the sadness of how it ended for these guys adds a very depressing tone to something like that.
>He Killed Himself!
It's an asian thing in general, not just koreans although they do take it to an extreme level because they're a very hypercompetitive society.
>not giving them inheritance powder to watch them slowly die in agony
ngmi
anybody watching my demon? It's pretty good tbh
is it a chick flick?
its a rom-com
70% of korean dramas are rom-coms btw
Later when it's about to end so I can binge it
Saw the first few episodes. Waiting for all the episodes to come out before watching the rest. Not sure how good the show will be but she's a total babe.
This actress was in Clean with Passion for Now and today she looks so fricking different. Tons of plastic surgery.
She was in Moon embracing the sun as a child actor and she looks the same except for the make-up. She's genuinely gorgeous
She was in Lady Vengeance (2005) and she got at the very least a nose job, 100%
Wait, she was 14 in 2012. So you're judging her form how she looked at 7 years old? Get a grip
>So you're judging her form how she looked at 7 years old?
Yes
she is also in Backstreet Rookie - twas decent
I had to stop at episode 3, too stupid even for me and I very much like stupid
I guess I've gotten a bigger tolerance for that stuff. I tend to just skip the boring crying scenes or the exposition about the mother and that makes the series 10x better
>pretty good
It's garbo
In the show there were cameras during the funeral and filmed the oldest son say they were wong to cremate the mother against adopted girl's wishes. Then suddenly everybody forgot about that detail and now the public is against her thinking it was her who wanted to cremate the body
I hate when authors write themselves into a corner and then change facts in their own show not even 2 episodes ago just so they can continue with the drama
I haven't seen that part yet, but I mean kdramas do that all the time. They write one ending to an episode for the biggest cliffhanger suspense then next episode they make it so its more plausible. It's very common.
But I prefer that to the chinese method of ending an episode mid line lol
why do bug people like chicken feet so much
they are chewy
full of collagen which is why women eat lots of it
Does anyone have a bad habit of watch half of the season and then moving on to another show because you don't want it to end?
*raises frog leg*
nah because I get bored
i stop because they are slow.
Most Kdramas tend to lose steam, even fell off the cliff quality-wise right at the end so you're not missing much.
please delete this thread, it only encourages racism against south koreans
the weak should fear the strong
His sister is much cooler than him.
Taxi Driver
Because Japan does it, and korea just copies them.
Nippo haven’t been relevant for awhile now.
All they have is muh godrilla
lemme just break up with my gf i suffered so much for and love so much because... i would rather wagie for old dudes full time! even though i dont HAVE to, but i feel like i need to do this because
WHY.
he apologizes, then he tells her to leave him alone cus he regrets it.
what did he think would happen?
huh???? huh?????
producer guy is more handsome by leagues too. hes just ice cold emotionally.
the bf is too emotional and does things that hurts him and Doona for no reason at all.
i dont get it. the show was great but the ending suk
Is it just me or do korean women feel looser and more easy to get than japanese ones ? hell, even chinese ones
No
Yea. Feels like they have inferiority complex towards the japanese even in this. Like they heard jap b***hes go after whites, so korean b***hes do it like crazy.
Koreans are definitely more loose. Chinese average. Japanese idk they never leave their country
It's the culture and maybe Christianity.
i want to see a kdrama with Bae Suzy and Lee Jae Wook -.-
with secx
thx netflix and studio dragon
Doona! was a beautifully made masterpiece
Sadly it's more targeted at high IQ educated male westerners than your usual est asian teenage girl so it's getting low ratings
I refuse to start anything because ive seen like 3 shows and they were all goated and I know its a fluke
based on your pic I would recommend, assuming you haven't seen them
Special Labor Inspector Jo
Good Manager
Spring turns to Spring
>have like the best gf in the world, which you clearly don't deserve it
>still kys
You're never gonna understand the true meaning of what the actors are saying in kdrama. You're missing a lot of the humor, and the cultural nuances.
You should just stick to nfl and honey booboo, frens.
I like to watch them act and imagine what they are saying.
anybody watching gyeonseong creature? i watched ep 1 and it was okay
i hate that the qt is a girlboss character though
From the stunted dialogs, the idiotic characters, the painfully unfunny comedic scenes, the jarring and forced romantic moments to the fake looking sets, mediocre directing and the incoherent, tropes-filled plot... literally nothing works in the show. dropped
rip
good night sweet prince
>suicide
he got hilary clinton'ed
more like he got IU'ed
She not that attractive. Still cute but been over inflated.
the point is that all her close friends seems to kys themselves for some reason
Necessary sacrifices for Korea's little sister.
qrd?
all the people next to IU in the picture were suicided
some say they knew too much and had to be dispatched
How big of a star is she? Is this a Hilary Clinton situation?
>How big of a star is she?
basically the taylor swift of south east asia.
>Why are revenge and/or bullying a popular plot in Korean stories?
1. Historical reasons, they were buttfricked by Japan and China. There's kind of a built in resentment and desire for revenge in the culture.
2. Like many Asian countries, their society to this day is really old fashioned and kind of odd in many ways. Just like in many other Asian countries, there is a big focus on maintaining social cohesion in society. It is very hierarchical, but also at the same time super competetive. Historically the government has also been oppressive. You have to listen and respect to people older than you, it's built into the culture, into the language etc. Even if your "superior" (for example boss, big brother, whatever) is a dumbass, you still have to listen to them and obey because they are older. Lots of repression in the culture, individuality is still kind of frowned upon. If for whatever reason you don't fit into the "social cohesion" aspect, you are a pretty easy target for bullying etc. And because the culture is so much about hierarchy, respect etc. it is easy for bullies to take advantage of that. And in return that breeds lots of desire for revenge. The country itself is also a very odd mix of asian and western politics/capitalism, which just adds more fuel to the fire.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Han_(cultural)
>In short, after researching the meaning of revenge in Korean cinema for almost a year, I argue that we could explain the meaning of revenge in South Korean cinema in the following way: (1) as a means of catharsis to let loose of the vengeful emotions hidden in the everyday experience of han, (2) a more direct identification with this experience of han, as revenge in Korean cinema often seems impossible or unsatisfying and (3) a deconstruction of classical Western morality where there’s a clear distinction between good and evil.
https://www.easternkicks.com/features/beyond-good-and-evil-revenge-in-south-korean-cinema/
better article than my ESL English post
Exactly. South koreans are still seething
>1. Historical reasons, they were buttfricked by Japan and China. There's kind of a built in resentment and desire for revenge in the culture.
i would say it is more because korean society is very hierarchical and has strong arbitrary social rules, so there is a lot of unfairness in life due to the cards you were dealt. so there is a lot of resentment because you have to kowtow to people because they are older/higher ranked/higher status/prettier. it is not egalitarian like the west is supposed to be. it is a nation of Persimmon Squashers to use a korean phrase.
Yeah that was my second point
There's also gambling debt.
Kdrama for men:
Vigilante
Mr Sunshine
Stranger/Forest of Secrets
Juvenile Justice
Death's Game
Devil Judge
But please don't watch picture. Leave my wife alone and let us have our privacy.
A show cannot be for men if there are women involved.
You could watch gay porno anon
Those are women too. I watched those too
>Mr Sunshine
another stinky ending where the dude just GIVES UP
You forgot Vagabond and The K2
I fricking love korean thriller/crime/drama movies. But I fricking despise K-drama.
That is all. Thanks for coming to my TEDx Talk.
I like American shows but I despite all the mutts and gays
yet they share the same directors, screenwriter, actors etc.
e.g. if you liked A Bittersweet Life and I Saw the Devil, there's no reason to not check out Dr. Brain
>there's no reason to not check out Dr. Brain
It actually looks intriguing. Maybe this will be the thing that changes my opinion on K-dramas.
dr brain was quite expertly directed fur a tv gig
The screenwriter of most Park Chan Wook's movies (Handmaiden, Decision to Leave, Lady Vengeance etc.) has also penned two amazing kdramas that are worth checking out
Infamous japanese director Takashi Miike has also directed a kdrama released last year
etc.
what I mean is that kdramas are not trash per se, talented people will produce great entertainment
kino
Don't listen to the Kpop shills, Korean dramas are inherently bad since they're made by Koreans.
Yes
Korea is the most souless country on earth.
the people, maybe, a lot of them, true, maybe more than the west
but the cities ? no way, the inclined roads, the rooftops of houses that you can almost walk on by way of bridges, the contrast between skyscrapers and buddhist temples, all make it have so much soul - watch Decision to Leave and just watch the city and environment just for a taste
>Korea is the most souless country on earth.
What is China? Saudi Arabi? Las Vegas? NY once you get past the glitz
You're souless
Lee Jae Wook and Bae Suzy kdrama pls, Studio Dragon.
Half the show will be them making out intensely.
pls
Doona's ex bf is sexy. I would be fine with Doona making out with her older producer ex bf for a few minutes in the next episode. they will have secx and chainsmoke all night
Doona just kinda aggressively tongue sucking him kind of thing.
do you intend to sound gay or are you just that repressed ?
>expecting koreans to be lewd and degenerate as le creature tv
>"Oppa? You're breaking up with me?"
tfw not making love to Bae Suzy in the missionary position
it's not gay to want to see your celebrity mancrush make out with your new celebrity woman obsession
wish i had the balls and actually fricked a korean gal while i was there, now i live with regret
sex
why is she looking at the N so passionately ?
secx
>Wake up
>thread is still ongoing
Jesus that show is fricking depressing
Why are the dudes wearing makeup.
because they be cute
There's nothing real in this photo
he's as real as it gets
His homosexuality is
Why are you posting on Cinemaphile instead of hooking up with these sugar baby escorts in Asia? A huge market over there.
fem boys
Men wear makeup in Korea. I’m not joking.
men wear dresses in America
Men wear dresses in Korea too. The difference being that everyone wears makeup on top of that
An influence by manga + Takarazuka
Is bullying really that bad in Korea that it involves bashing the victim's brains out with a brick?
>The glory
>Tomorrow the first or second episode
Why are Korean girls so ugly and bogged too much?
I've seen better trannies in the streets of Chiang Mai.
>korean girls
>ugly
homie, you must haven not seen the south of asia in term of quality.
Korean girls tend to value vanity and aesthetics much more.
Implying buger girls are not as equally bogged out with the whole bucco fat removal
Buccal fat removal is 100x better than jaw shaving, Koreans looks like alien with their pointy jaws and slanty eyes.
If I want to frick East Asian prostitutes I'd rather go to China, at least the girls are all natty.
>chinese girls
>all natty
in what world are you living in?
Better than Korean girls by miles.
Chinese >>> Japs >>>>> Mongols >>> Thai >>>>> Viets >>>>>>>> Indons/Malays >>>>>>>>>>> Pinoys >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Shit >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> asiatics
did a korean break your heart ? or did a korean kill your family or something ?
Did a korean molest you when you were little?
Or you're a dogeater too?
imagine hunting the streets of Chiang Mai at night in search of trannies
Despite what you see in media Koreans absolute shitters. Bullying, abusing people, scamming.
Older Korean women are thuggish Black folk in the shadows.
I remember watching a news story of an old Korean lady abusing a dog and when confronted she was like "I don't care what are going to do about it."
She's just preparing her meal.
Schlocky but fun
Dont understand why #4 is the highest rated ep on imdb 4 though
because everyone loves Go Youn Jung since Moving
What AI do you use and the prompt?
Is Moving watchable if I skip the episodes without her in it? I was liking the show until they started introducing new people every episode.
No she’s an important character, and is the MC’s future wife (they will mix their powers together to create Superman)
without her not with her
sauce on the prostitutes?
It's CP. Don't bother.
Any K-kinos involving ghost possession? I love these stories
There was Revenant this year with "The Handmaiden" super cute actress
it's good but i wouldn't go as far as saying it was kino
Revenant
is decent
Also Mouse isn't really about a ghost possession, but is sort of similar. You might like it.
>watch first episode
>remember there was a manhwa like that from like 3 years ago that got indifinitely on hiatus
so they're making shit up from like the school episode onwards?
also damn the ending of ep4, way to keep making this dude's unlife more horrible
Why these shows the bad guys have the thickest plot armor, literally could be immortal in a non supernatural procedural drama, literally all the country is on their side, but then in the last episode the shittiest unsustainable proof that wouldn't have worked in the previous 15 episodes suddenly stops them?
Also why bad guys are always moustache twirling evil? like they go way over their path to be evil even if that doesn't bring them any benefit and most of the time is actually detrimental. Why?
>it takes one episode for the bad guy to obliterate 99% of the supporting cast
>quickly gets beaten in the last episode in the most "wait..that's it?" way possible
the last episodes of this show were wack
they had to rewrote the last episodes in like 2 days since the female lead got cancelled hard for DUI and just disappear from the show, cut them some slack
>Japan: just forgive your bullies
>Korean: TORTURE your bullies
Based
>watch sweet home because I read the manga
>they add original donut steel character and kill a couple of the main characters from the manga that are still alive, then start to deviate more and more from the plot
why?
Does bassist qt stay alive? I haven't seen season 2 yet.
yes, she dies quite early in season 2 though
lol so only the main character and the short girl remain from the original characters from the comic? top kek
no idea
isn't firefighter girl in the comic?
she's one of the lead of s2 and i very much liked her storyline with her qt monstrous daughter
>isn't firefighter girl in the comic?
no, she's donut steel
Does main character end up fricking any of the qts in the apartment building?
any korean thriller shows/movies to watch?
Vincenzo
He's so handsome I think about him everyday and i'm straight.
lmao is this the gayest phrase out there ?
>and i'm straight
is straight relative now too ?
Mouse
The Worst of Evil
Vagabond
The K2
>comfy show about mental problems and suicide
>Park Bo-young
Nice, I liked Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and Oh My Ghost
They're deranged like that
Because Koreans live in an intensive hierarchy based on wealth and appearance so literally everyone is a slave to someone else and everyone is seething
Korea cinema and television goes in cycles of what is most popular at the time. Hollywood is really no better with every other movie being a super hero movie.
Can someone recommend me some Korean shows if I only watched but also loved the following:
>My mister
>Reply 1988
My Liberation Notes. Same writer as My Mister.
ThanksAJKDNM
>our blues
>LOST
>2521
Thanks I actually had 2521 on my watch list, added the other ones.
Mother (korean version) is very sad but a very well done and thrilling series
Secret forest (aka stranger) was also very well done and thrilling it also stars Bae Doona if you are into her
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is very funny and light hearted
The Glory was good too, revenge wise
My Dearest was also pretty kino, although it was more romance if thats your type of thing
How sad is mother?
I don't like seeing asian mom being sad since my extended family is comprised of mostly females.
its pretty fricking depressing, but its less about moms being sad than the depressing nature of what they talk about. In a way its uplifting. Only that comes out once the depressing shit is over.
It's not about the financial struggles of being a single mom, is it? Because those are the one that I'm weary about watching
haha, here's the synopsis
>A young girl named Hye-Na (Heo Yool) is abused by her mother Ja-Young (Ko Sung-Hee). Although she is not okay, she tells other people she is alright. Soo-Jin (Lee Bo-Young) is a temporary teacher at the elementary school where Hye-Na attends. Soo-Jin is aware of her situation and decides to become her mother.
>child abuse
you just have to get through the superbly done but bleak as frick pilot with all the child abuse
yea, tbh the pilot was the hardest part to watch
>Mother (korean version) is very sad but a very well done and thrilling series
absolutely loved it
39
>You never be a submissive white bully victim
>no cute popular girls to put the boots on you and force me to kiss it
>No femboys to kick your ass
>You know you can go 1v10 blindfolded any time you want but you choose to be a helpless victim because you love it
why is the cat crying
korean cat
it's a magic ghost cat owned by a little girl and whose sole mission in life is to protect her
however when she gets sexually molested it usually just stands there and cries, because it actually doesn't really exist
You can’t Brie be serious
the little girl can summon the cat through her magic notebook
but then she forget the notebook in the ice queen lair and hijinks ensue
but then she forget the notebook in the ice queen lair and hijinks ensue
sound a storyline from the Nippo
he isn't lol, just watch like 10 minutes of the series if you are so k-curious
just google "mother korean drama episode 1"
Reccomend me some kdramas based on my favourites.
>The Glory
>My Name
>Little Women
>Celebrity
>The Glory
Mask Girl
>My Name
The Worst of Evil
>Little Women
Mother (same screenwriter)
>Celebrity
Doona!
Thanks, I'll check those out.
Nobody Knows
Koreans LOVE taking emotions to extremes, doesn't matter what kind of emotion it is, violence, romance, anxiety, everything goes. Bullying is also a big issue there apparently and it's used as a cheap way to get sympathy for a character. It's one of the worst things about korean media
>Murdering murderers is... le bad!
There are also comfy feelgood plots like Hometown Chachacha. The smalltown and its residents were great.
Can anyone recommend more?
New thread music:
>Can anyone recommend more?
I mean, this storyline is recycled a dozens times per year
the current airing one is called "Welcome to Samdal-ri" and you already know the plot
>Weightlifting Fair Kim Bok Joo
>A Business Proposal
Still 17
>women develop mentally past 17
what a ridiculous premise
Her Private Life
as an asian, i'm curious if any of you non-asians can tell the characters apart. i've learned from Cinemaphile that pretty much none of you morons can tell apart asian faces
i can but i'm not a moron so idk
annhyeonghaseo!!! haha hello there person of asian descent. Why yes I can tell you guys apart haha, its nothing special or anything although I have always been told I'm a very smart boy
ib damul-eo beolle
haha bugs don't have mouths!
nana is so pretty. post more
>implying we can tell white, black, and hispanic people apart as well
yeah, even between asiatics and japs, but seamonkeys in general? nope unless they start yapping. god their languages are so fricking ugly, just ugly people in general
i wasn't talking about telling apart what nationality is what. i was wondering if you could tell the actors apart in these shows because apparently non-asians can't.
I sometimes have trouble, but most of the time I can do it just fine.
The harder part is keeping everyone's name straight, and I usually forget the characters' names soon after finishing the series.
asiatics all hate each other and themselves but are trapped in a world of competitive one-up-manship
it's what happens when you allow women to dominate politics
is there any slice of life Korean show that is not for women? Itaewon class was like that but is kinda shit
>Would You Like a Cup of Coffee
>Move to Heaven
itaewon class was based off a manhwa that was essentially a harem, which is why you got that feeling.
extracurricular (2020) also gives off that feeling although its less a harem feel and more bonnie and clyde
sweet home (2020) is based on a manhwa which you might like the feel of
most drama are gear towards females, especially slice of life
thriller, are more guy orientated
>280 posts
K drama chads we stay winning
2024 will be a good one
I don't see it staying long term, there is no culture and/or resident schizos
where are you from and why are you obsessed with kdramas? are you korean?
>liking korean shows
>obsessed
In 2023 I've watched:
The Glory
It's Okay to not be ok
Daily dose of sunshine
My Name
Mr Sunshine
Juvenile Justice
Crashlanding on you
And I liked all of them.
In the same time I've watched only a couple of western tv shows, and they were awful. More like hatewatching,
You
Rings of Power
Marvel slop
the love period ends after 4-5 years and you notice the same patterns in kdramas
honestly its amazing to see new shows that are surprising and completely different from western TV. I just wish japan and/or other countries would up their game with live action tv.
you are mostly right, yet in 2023, we got a lot of unique kdramas which didn't recycle any existing storylines:
>Bargain
>Mask Girl
Those two are 100% original
>Moving
>Song of the Bandits
to a lesser extent
>tfw no Min Young wife
Jdimsa
I can't think of any western tv show that was good, that I liked this year.
I still have yet to seen godzilla from apple, or the newest season of fargo.
My favorite k drama that I have seen this year are
The Glory
My Mister
My Liberation notes
Flower of Evil
Mouse
we produce the art we need to see
>sk show = funny and well done
>sk in reality = ultra feminst/chuddy hellhole where you need to kneel before like 15 powerful companies
Pls watch Zombie Detective
good night
Why do Koreans apparently say "fighting" in English so much?
its like to cheer you up or get hyped. they also talk about some personality test bs all the time to describe themselves. they're just moronic.
It's not. It's just that revenge films are the only Korean films that American plebs can digest. Which is why all plebs hated Parasite. Because it wasn't LE EBIN REVENGE XDDD. It's not a magical coincidence. You're just a pleb.
