Critics aren't to be trusted but the movie was lacking something. There's supposed to be an extended cut (or alternative cut? I don't know if they're just going to add new scenes or also rearrange the movie) so hopefully that will help with the pacing issues, will add more grit because the movie is too soft for the finale.
All the original cast being back is cool as frick. But something tells me some loser like Mauler or ER or someone is going to make hours of content talking about why it's the worst piece of cinematic history ever to grace this earth.
Mauler and Drinker already reviewed this film months in advance. Almost everyone (who actually watched it) gave it like 5/10. But that general group of youtubers aren't fans in general. They all collectively are fans of Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, DC and Marvel.
JW better because its scope was smaller therefore much better from structural perspective. So I rank it below JW, above FK but I don't know yet if higher or lower than JPIII, probably lower.
The first JW was enjoyable enough as a general crowd-pleaser with some decent fan service. Fallen Kingdom was a huge disappointment, though. It didn't match the scale of the previous entries at all, and had a very uninteresting plot.
Dominion easily tops the three of them, as I found the dinosaur action way more engaging in this one. Though it did take a while for the plot to pick up during the first two acts. Overall, I'd give it a 8/10.
Overall the franchise wasn't "ruined" the way Star Wars or Terminator was by attacking its past but it's certainly not as good as it should've been given its enormous popularity. Kids really love it and it's like a sports team that has lots of dedicated supporters and everybody's rooting for it but can't deliver. It's just average, good for those who care about either the movies or just dinosaurs. If that's the end that's ok, I'd be ok with them just focusing on games or shows but I know they mentioned future movies. I hope it's just unrelated spin offs under JP banner. Higher better writers, take better care, make it less like a breakneck speed action and focus on either adventure or thriller aspect.

There's plenty of room for this. Even small scale films like a couple of plane crash survivors being hunted like The Grey but with raptors instead of wolves. It doesn't always need to be gigantic action packed spectacles.
What the frick are you idiots on, it was the worst one yet.
Have the standards for good movies really drop this fricking far
I don’t agree with critics because they are paid shills but this movie really was terrible in every aspect
>The dinosaur cgi looked pretty shit in the trailers and I hear locusts are the villains. But it can't be that bad
The CGI is kind of mixed. Like it looks bad in some parts but great in others. I dunno if it was different teams doing it. Looks like a lot of animatronics too. The locusts are like the background to the plot so I dunno why some people act like they're in it more than they are.
The Bourne chase through Malta was unnecessary. Clone shit was cringe. Dinos can apparently live alongside modern animals with no problems but giant locusts are the big threat. There was practically no character development and their motivations often made little sense like the black pilot. It's kino, for 12 year olds.
BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD BIG BUTT BIG BOOBAS BOOB BOOBIE BOOB BUTT BIG BOOBAS BOOBIE BUTT BIG FAT BUTT BRYCE DALLASS BOOBA BOOBIES BOOB BOPB BOOBOBBOOBBASBUTT
The actual movie was an absolute mess. One of the most offensively incompetent and lazy big-budget movies I have ever seen. Some dude in my theater left for thirty minutes in the middle and then came back to finish it. He didn't miss anything.

it was ok
I think critics just have a hate boner for chris pratt and try to sabotage all his movies
underwhelming finale though
good points, thanks.

Too much focus on locusts and human clones instead of dinos
This movie has dozens and dozens of dinosaurs. They just aren't central to the plot. It's a heist movie that happens to take place in a dino park.
Lots of fun. Easily the best JW. Dumbest movie I've ever seen.
haha, that actually paints a vivid picture
It didn't shit on the original trinity & it was not woke. That is all that fricking matters.
Shill thread.
How does it compare to Jurassic world and fallen kingdom?
Jurassic world was enjoyable dino nonsense but fallen kingdom was unwatchable trash
Where does dominion fit?
JW better because its scope was smaller therefore much better from structural perspective. So I rank it below JW, above FK but I don't know yet if higher or lower than JPIII, probably lower.

>How does it compare to Jurassic world and fallen kingdom?
It's better than both and the second best out of all 6 Jurassic Park movies in my opinion.

This.

>it was kino
If you mean it was netflix tier, then yes.
>I just left a showing a few hours ago and it was kino.
Capeshitters raised by capeshit wouldn't understand

Such as?
The second jurassic world was much worse than this one, it was even more focused on the humans
The dinosaur cgi looked pretty shit in the trailers and I hear locusts are the villains. But it can't be that bad
There's actually a surprising amount of animatronic work in this movie.

Didn’t need to be 2 and a half hours and the end fight was pretty dumb

interesting, thanks
After reading the reviews and then actually seeing it pic related is pretty much what I expected. Critics are proven yet again to be morons.
How woke?

Not at all from what I remember

Any good ass shots? Fallen Kingdom had a ton.
my man, asking the important questions
i've been convinced
Therizinosaurus was cool.
The actual movie was an absolute mess. One of the most offensively incompetent and lazy big-budget movies I have ever seen. Some dude in my theater left for thirty minutes in the middle and then came back to finish it. He didn't miss anything.
No dinosaurs in the dinosaur movie
You could remove every dinosaur from this movie and the plot wouldn't change
How come they swore so much in a kids movie?
Frick Laura Dern, that's why
