Maybe he just wasn't a furry. Also, the frog mom in Thumbelina was pretty nice.

I'd say Don is a Schrodinger's Furry. He definitely loves drawing animals, and does not seem to be a prude when it comes to sensual poses. But he also understands animal movies do (or did) worse at the box office, he said as much to Steven when he proposed American Tail. If a furry is a vegetarian, I'd say Don is an omnivore.

Are you telling me that this isn't the height of sexuality?

That’s odd to me because isn’t Bluth Mormon?

Yes he is a pretty hardcore christian, although it's interesting that in TSON he showed blood and minor language which is definitely way more liberal than most of Disney's animation, which is mostly tame after the 40s. There's also Princess Daphne, who has quite literally been described as being created by looking through Playboy magazines.

I wouldn't say it's forgotten, the DVD sold well enough. Also it was rendered in 1080p, so a Bluray is always possible. I wish for an Iron Giant style director's cut with maybe a few extra minutes animated. Maybe put the Green Drink deleted scene back in the movie.

I think Mrs. Brisby was probably supposed to be "cute" in some senses. In an endearing emotion way, rather than sexual.

Watch Castle in the Sky if you want a good/likeable animated adventure film about reaching an abandoned construction that includes a lot of action, a quirky crew, and a bit of romance. Titan AE doesn't cut it.

Titan A.E. is my favorite movie and if I had unlimited funds I'd buy it from Disney and remake it with a better script, better writers, and modern cgi pipelines.

Titan A.E is just kind of an average movie. I don't think about it often.

    >1998 : Mulan, Antz, A Bug's Life, The Prince of Egypt
    >1999 : Tarzan, The Iron Giant, Toy Story 2
    >2000 : Fantasia sequel, The Road to El Dorado, Dinosaur, Titan A.E, Chicken Run, The Emperor's New Groove
This is quite boring compared to the other theatrical western animation films of that era. It needed stronger writing.

At least say "i'll shoot him dead". Not as twisted as "i'll rip his heart out". Dude had issues. He was eager to kill Cale and Akima when he cornered them at the Titan, and would've done so if not for Preed's sudden betrayal.

The animation of this film is unacceptable. CG and 2D clash with each other, and framerate shits itself a lot.
