Why are the human characters in Don Bluth movies usually so handsome compared to his animal characters?

>why are characters that are normal for me to be attracted to so much more attractive than characters that are abnormal to be attracted to
gee anon idk, maybe cause other people arent all furgays
Maybe he just wasn't a furry. Also, the frog mom in Thumbelina was pretty nice.
I'd say Don is a Schrodinger's Furry. He definitely loves drawing animals, and does not seem to be a prude when it comes to sensual poses. But he also understands animal movies do (or did) worse at the box office, he said as much to Steven when he proposed American Tail. If a furry is a vegetarian, I'd say Don is an omnivore.
>does not seem to be a prude when it comes to sensual poses.
That’s odd to me because isn’t Bluth Mormon?
Yes he is a pretty hardcore christian, although it's interesting that in TSON he showed blood and minor language which is definitely way more liberal than most of Disney's animation, which is mostly tame after the 40s. There's also Princess Daphne, who has quite literally been described as being created by looking through Playboy magazines.
Not orthodox, and not strict. He is actually closer to a free thinker and part time consoomer of philosophy. Like, he believe in muses.
Titan AE is not a bad movie, not great but not bad.
it dont deserve to be simple forgoten
I still like the icefield scene
I wouldn't say it's forgotten, the DVD sold well enough. Also it was rendered in 1080p, so a Bluray is always possible. I wish for an Iron Giant style director's cut with maybe a few extra minutes animated. Maybe put the Green Drink deleted scene back in the movie.
I think Mrs. Brisby was probably supposed to be "cute" in some senses. In an endearing emotion way, rather than sexual.
handsome animals?
Some animals can be handsome. Have you ever seen a tiger?
Are you telling me that this isn't the height of sexuality?
This is now a mousu thread. Post rodentis femme fatals!
A mouse thread, you say?
Titan AE is ruined by its script. Average at best.
It was in development hell for years and was based on a thin concept to begin with.
>drawing chads means you're gay
Watch Castle in the Sky if you want a good/likeable animated adventure film about reaching an abandoned construction that includes a lot of action, a quirky crew, and a bit of romance. Titan AE doesn't cut it.
Future Boy Conan and Sherlock Hound were both better in execution. Truth bomb.
I watched and loved both. Checkmate, Pick Oner.
Titan AE is easily one of the least charming or heartwarming animation films to come from america.
The triality of man
Cinemaphile summed up in three posts
I can't believe different people have different about things either.
Not!
Go back to bed cotton you're dead
Titan A.E. is my favorite movie and if I had unlimited funds I'd buy it from Disney and remake it with a better script, better writers, and modern cgi pipelines.
Titan A.E is just kind of an average movie. I don't think about it often.
>Matt Damon, Drew Barrymore, Bill Pullman, Nathan Lane, Janeane Garofalo, John Leguizamo, Tone Loc, Ron Perlman
This cast wasn't given the best material to work with.
because you should be attracted to regular people and not have an intense desire to frick the neighbor's dog
Poasting in a medium effort b8 thread.
>1998 : Mulan, Antz, A Bug's Life, The Prince of Egypt
>1999 : Tarzan, The Iron Giant, Toy Story 2
>2000 : Fantasia sequel, The Road to El Dorado, Dinosaur, Titan A.E, Chicken Run, The Emperor's New Groove
This is quite boring compared to the other theatrical western animation films of that era. It needed stronger writing.
Dinosaur is pretty bad after the first 10 minutes.
This mouse thread didn't really pan out.
Don't fret, it's not like they are super rare and never have anything good posted.
>humans : Cale Tucker, Akima (surname isn't said on the film or credits), Joseph Korso, Sam Tucker
>aliens : Preed, Stith, Gune, Tek, The Cook, The Gauols, The Drej, Queen Drej
Don't care for these characters
>Korso mentions during a threat that he will personally rip Cale's heart out
He wasn't a well written character
>you want the boy alive cause he still has the full map
>if you don't keep a safe distance from me, I'll kill the boy and you will never find the Titan
>if you want the boy alive, leave me and my ship alone
>this is poorly written
I think you cannot into basic logic.
At least say "i'll shoot him dead". Not as twisted as "i'll rip his heart out". Dude had issues. He was eager to kill Cale and Akima when he cornered them at the Titan, and would've done so if not for Preed's sudden betrayal.
He was playing tough. Like certain anons claim they fricked your (and my) mom.
Want a PG american animation film aimed at older audiences which is actually good and well written? Watch Antz instead.
The animation of this film is unacceptable. CG and 2D clash with each other, and framerate shits itself a lot.
>Human character becomes more beautiful when they become non-human
What did Bluth mean by this?
Beautiful from the point of view of BBW enthusiasts.
