Hollywood knows IP's are done for. What better way to get people back in their seats than through autuers? They ask for less budget, costs less to license, and easier to market at artistically relevant. It's going to be the way to differentiate films from tvs.

he's a really good technical director, really has a gift for directing compelling "procedural" scenes i think. especially in Arrival and Sicario i think there's lots of fascinating extensive scenes where they're just goin gthrough their motions
