The Sony Spiderverse is the weirdest shit ever. Out of all the things they could try to push into the public, it’s this thing. Like they could be churning out Uncharted movies to try to force Nathan Drake into being a bigger pop culture icon or something. Instead they just make these weird Spiderman adjacent movies that nobody seems to care about.
Morbius was as bland as it gets, despite being a movie about a really obscure character. Sony could make a Shuma-Gorath solo movie and somehow make it bland and boring.
It feels like capeshit has regressed back to the 90s and 2000s again with these lame and generic budget adaptions of literal who characters. Even the mcu feels like this to me now again
All the Avengers are either dead or retired and no one cares about their replacements. Irrelevant side characters are all they have left. That, and the X-Men.
