the age of consent law is actually a way to legalize a lot of pedophile acts, when the older laws just says "it's illegal for adults". It changes the situation because that way the children are always the victim, you can't defend yourself pretending "she actually liked it", because the idea of children consent de facto didn't exist. Now on the other hand....
pedo's #1 argument during a trial is telling the kid wanted it and didn't say no, and that the parents are the one pretending otherwise. This argument doesn't work if you don't have a rule for age of consent to begin with, since you age and their age is enough to validate the crime.
I don't think they're necessarily "more horny" than other countries, but since they're more open when it comes to sexuality they can express it with more taste.
Then why is Joel Jurion so scared of drawing e-girl these days?

only animators get them. comics artists are free-lancers and they get no subsidies whatsoever. it's literally one of the least protected job in France. even though the pubilshers make extra €€€ from exceptional protectionist laws that only apply to the book industry, but almost none of that benefit is given back to the artists.

even common brass looks like gold to the neutered American """"man""""
Stop saying that about my country. I can't disprove you easily.

Anon you're using double negatives as far as I can tell incorrectly so it's very hard for anyone to read what you mean.
Their art schools are just overall better. They have historical resources that allow them to firmly study art on a fundamental and technical level that isn't here in the U.S. anymore thanks to the photographic and experimental era of the 70's. Even when they use simple TV designs, they still make it work much better than here because they understand that each piece of art should be treated like an individual. The way the colors are used, composition, shapes, style, etc. Compare that to modern-day cartoons which are so homogenized to make Korean production easier. A lot of cartoons even use the same fricking line clean-up in the same digital program. For a brief time, Netflix was the only one actually treating TV cartoons like they were in the 90's and early 2000's where each cartoon should be treated differently, not put on a factory assembly line so it all looks the same.

Wow, you just wrote a load of bollocks.
France is not a liberal country, the Dutch tricolour predates theirs and only 3 countries in Europe follow the French Napoleonic flag which is very much not about freedom or liberty, it's about republicanism (unless the president makes himself an emperor, again).
Science has nothing to do with art and it's a laughable reason to given when their immediate neighbour is the UK.
I'm sorry you have Paris syndrome and think so much of French women and food.
It's honestly embarrassing how butthurt Brits still are. You can hardly watch a British show without seeing seething about the French, whereas we barely think about you at all (and when we do it's generally positive).
We interrupt your frog sucking for this troubling question: Why the frick can't the French and Japanese write worth a shit? They always aim for something way above their IQ and always end up writing themselves into corner or worse writing milquetoast shit.

>Shark Tale, Arthur and the Minimoys, Despicable Me, The Bad Guys
the most well known CG films by french directors (Bibo Bergeron, Luc Besson, Pierre Coffin, Pierre Perifel)
They are declining at a slower rate, because of their culture, which has a high emphasis on the arts.
You can see it slowly eroding if you look closely though.
Art is dying, it's under deliberate attack and no one seems to care, very sad.

As far as French animation goes, it's MUCH healthier in the 21st century than it was in the 20th, largely thanks to Kirikou's success in the late 90s. It's pretty much incomparable, from a world where the only decent French TV cartoons were animated in Japan and the only animated movies that got funding were Astérix, to a literally thriving industry where you'll find more varied animated topics than anywhere else in the world.
Government subsidies
This and the French are pedophiles and could not care less if their children see naked wieners on a daily basis.
you mean naked women
no it's not a meme buddy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwLyP-vSnt0 they are fricking degenerates
lolno

Meanwhile, la americana kinographia.
US only allows homosexual perversion and interracial stuff
not much as far as comics go.

Rape is why
France and UK are really good.
The UK is terrible at just about everything artistic these days what are you talking about
Stop saying that about my country. I can't disprove you easily.

They're perverts

Zombizou, I think.
Are they? They draw nice breasts i guess.
Unapologetic perverts.
and proud of it baby
It's less that they're good, and more that Americans are peabrained idiots, so the French look better by comparison.
I can't name a single cartoon from france that's currently running
The bug one?
because you are a pervert
little to no capeshit
Good at comics, not cartoons

They aren't
the french culture is (still) separated enough from the anglo one to be able to produce its own content with limited influence
i love french animation
Fiction tradition - literatur and comics

Let's post good french stuff outside of the usual coombait
>Shark Tale, Arthur and the Minimoys, Despicable Me, The Bad Guys
the most well known CG films by french directors (Bibo Bergeron, Luc Besson, Pierre Coffin, Pierre Perifel)
Because when Disney Animation Paris closed in the 2000s a bunch of skilled animators flooded the French market + subsidies
>Disney Animation Paris
they made A Goofy Movie
they made minions
They have Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema upfront, not to mention some of the most exciting young talent in the world rn.
Honestly their B team could probably make it to the semi finals alone.
