It's clear that they DID de-age him but didn't entirely CG his face like with luke. Likely because he's doing a lot of facial work that CG can't keep up with. The de-aged CG faces still are quite wooden and dead compared to real life. Here's what he actually looks like now

Did we ever figure out if Hayden is doing the voice or not? I've seen people say its Hayden with a modulator, an AI, and James Earl Jones.
I never figured out which it is, and hearing how fricking stupid the dialogue/script is I'm not sure I even care at this point.
It's Hayden in the suit saying the lines, which are then fed through an AI with the setting "James Earl Jones", which are then modulated to give it Vader's reverb. The AI is mentioned in the credits, Respeecher.
Hayden would be speaking dialogue on set, but it is James Earl Jones doing the voice overdubs at 91. Impressive.

Kinda weird that they went with the Ep2 pre-Clone Wars look instead of the Ep3 version. It wouldn't excuse the age difference any more than it does already, but it was just a weird choice.
