>DUDE JUST DRIVE THIS METALLIC 2 TON BEAST >if you make the slightlest mistake you will cause thousands in property damage and at worst you will kill an entire phillipino family
this is my mindset while driving and everyone who treats it like a fun game pisses me the frick off.
I live right by a goddamn tim hortons that was built a few years ago in a SHITTY spot, traffic-wise. the city ASSURED us they would alter the intersection to accomodate it.
lol. lmao.
Now that intersection is 3x as busy as it's designed to be, and filled with fricking IDIOTS who will sit there and stare while turning right on a green light.
It's gotten so bad for this specific fricking problem that now people assume that if you're turning right on that green, you actually will just hang out and spectate. I've been cut off by people so many fricking times there now because they just figure I'm a coffetard exiting the parking lot before remembering how to drive.

I wouldn't mind driving if I WAS THE ONLY ONE DOING IT
You're the normie for thinking the entirety of Bullit is held up by the car chase. The movie is solid, the chase just ups the ante. But yes, Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry is top tier. Vanishing Point is right next to it.
>entirety of Bullit is held up by the car chase
I guess it's more that I find the actual movie (that is, the movie besides the car chase) quite boring, but it's just not to my tastes. I just get worked up when people call it a "car" movie. Even Drive is on thin ice imo, Cinemaphile memes aside it's really only 30% car movie.
Because cars are fricking boring and utilitarian. It’s like making a movie about escalators. “Car” movies are only interesting when they incorporate action, crime, and hot chicks (i.e. things that aren’t cars).
taking the bus is kino, i get to chat the cool old black man driving the bus and am stress free from traffic and driving shenanigans. I live in a good area so no violent Black folk on public transits. Just old black and latino women.
Men are exiting the dating market in droves, hence the zoomers don't want sex in movies meme
Men are no longer interested in taking driving tests for license, hence lack of interest in car movies
>character has a pickup truck >doesn't have a job that necessitates a truck >doesn't haul anything >doesn't tow anything >could have easily gotten a van or a wagon and it would perfectly suit his needs
>character drives a pickup truck >truck is three times the size of a truck from the 90s >always drives at least 20 above the speed limit >weaves in and out of traffic >takes up two parking spots
The tropes. >Everyone drives a 1970s car or truck >Everyone smokes cigarettes with a Zippo >People just love tossing their zippos into puddles of gasoline for the big booms
>mfw I get in my unnecessarily large truck that gets abysmally low gas mileage and go literally wherever I want, whenever I want, carrying and towing whatever I want, with up to 4 other people >mfw you wait around on the streets like a poor person waiting for the government to come pick you up in the bang bus full of urban youth playing classical music from their cell phones on their way to their jobs as doctors/lawyers

no thanks

FPBP.
cars are nice but they have the potential to completely ruin your fricking life within seconds. also the whole thing about polluting the air.
>citycucks
Your air is already polluted, moron.
go frick your cousin, dale
driving during the pandemic was the best thing ever
Just double clutch it you fricking poofter
cars are evil. walkable cities are the future
>cars are evil. walkable cities are the future
This. Also it should be illegal to leave your assigned city.
>cars are evil. walkable cities are the future
It's literally the polar opposite, you communist homosexual
best one ever was already made
nothing to improve on
The best thing about this movie was the intentional absence of dramatic music during the chase scene. Nothing but engines and tires as it should be.
Bullit is normie slop, most of the movie is boring nothing. The literal only good part is the one car chase.
Picrel is a way better car movie
frick you for not liking bullit
Smokey and the Bandit is a better car movie than that
Had to sorry.
Don't apologize if you didn't do anything wrong

what the frick is a car movie?
Top Gear's specials were incredibly popular and they were arguably films
Because cars are fricking boring and utilitarian. It’s like making a movie about escalators. “Car” movies are only interesting when they incorporate action, crime, and hot chicks (i.e. things that aren’t cars).
why would i get a license when i can call an uber or take public transit?
honestly based as frick

All the plastics and onions in our products finally caught up to produce the weakest, lowest T generation ever
your generation fricked us over and made them unaffordable. nothing to do with testosterone.
traffic and congestion have removed all pleasure from driving, assuming youre not a flyover bumpkin
>character has a pickup truck
>doesn't have a job that necessitates a truck
>doesn't haul anything
>doesn't tow anything
>could have easily gotten a van or a wagon and it would perfectly suit his needs
This doesn't happen in real life, right?

>People just love tossing their zippos into puddles of gasoline for the big booms
>cuts to a urinal scene
>character has a microdick
Because they are invariably written for fricking mindless fricking meathead idiots.
>Muh Fast and Furious
Frick off.

No 'Hooper'? That's criminal. 'Death Proof' should be on there too.
>Why isn't [genre] more popular?
People got tired of them due to oversaturation. NEXT!
