3 games i bought last year. There are zero TV shows or movies that i cared for or watched from 2023. I mostly watch my old DVD collection now and play new videogames..
Years ago it felt TV had more meaningful content, now I turn on the TV and I have another afternoon with nothing but CSI reruns, reruns of whatever TLC show is on atm, an entire afternoon of Hell's Kitchen reruns and even more reruns WITH commercials every 20min. In the evening nothing but talkshow if it is friday night and maybe 1-2 movies around midnight and the upped the runtime with another 30min cause of commercials so you have to stick around until 1 am to finish the movie.
I remembers the days where you didn't have 25 channels of nothing but reruns, but a couple main ones that would rotate TV shows per season, have movies almost every night at 20:30 and around 22:30, but I guess everyone exclusively releases to streaming services these days and nobody wants to broadcast new shows on TV anymore.
Because more and more people realize that the TV shows are nothing more than the tool to keep you seated between ads.

There are people that unironically pay $10+ for multiple streaming service. Anyone that doesn't mod their Android Smart TV to remove commercials and pay the minimum is getting israeliteed.
Cable isn't worth it and the only way to get quality with an antenna is to get a big hunk of metal and strap it high outside, which is also inconvenient
