>Gets mid to positive reviews
>It flops because no one noticed it
Just say you want particular sequels and adaptions. It's okay.

These are movies for four year olds
so is your brain
>t. seething manchild
Which begs the question, do 4 years old need this level of production value to enjoy things?
the movies are meant for children, but they are supposed to be enjoyable for the parents too. Parents are the ones buying the tickets and they also have to sit through the movie.
Lio king was for 4 years all and it was. A massive success and an iconic movie. Stop being a gay
I would like a good movie actually, don't care if sequel, prequel, remake, female, reimagining, whatever. Just a decent frickin movie with a good story. It can even have blacks in it. Just be good
>can't make a good movie unless it's already been done before
Amazing
What does this even mean? You're going to move the goalpost endlessly on what a "good movie" is. Give a definitive definition.
>elemental
>"original"
>studios trained consumers during COVID that kids movies come direct to streaming
>movies are expensive as shit to go see if you're a family of 4 or 5
>shortened theatrical windows have trained consumers that you can just wait a month and see the movie for "free" when it comes to the streaming services you pay for
studios did this to themselves
>see an ad for The Creator
>think that it looks interesting
>2 months later it's on Disney+
okay thanks, i guess i didn't need to go to the cinema after all
>lazy storytelling
>lazy calarts animation
>original
lmao
>Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken
Asian lead
>Migration
Awkwafina
>Elemental
Asian lead, also written and directed by an Asian
Coincidence since you can't even see them? I THINK NOT
>release movies for little kids
>full of homosexualry and other D.I.E. nonsense
GEE I WONDER WHY THEY FLOPPED HOPEFULLY SCIENCE™ WILL COME UP WITH AN ANSWER
I wanna frick Ruby Gillman.
>immigration and race mixing movies aimed at kids aren't popular
How odd. Not sure what that big purple thing is but it looks really gay.
>female, female-marketed character has feminine character design
and race mixing movies aimed at kids aren't popular
Confirmed he didn't watch Ruby Gillman.
Grandmamah racist
His nose big
The racist grandma was actually portrayed by the movie to be in the right, though, with all the mermaids being proven as evil.
I said I didn't know what it was in my post you silly ESL. I was talking about the other 2 movies in the picture.
I started watching Ruby Gillman since I thought the designs look cute but within the first 2 minutes or so they establish the love interest as some "cool" black kid so that was it for that movie.
They should make good movies, compare the teenage kraken to toy story, it's just soulless. Migration too, these feel like """movies""" that shouldn't have been in theaters, they should have been sent directly to streaming services to just pad content.
>compare the teenage kraken to toy story, it's just soulless
>"This children's film that just came out doesn't speak to me as much as one I watched when I was a kid, it must be SOVL"
kys
They flop because original not because they're shit
Being original isn't enough, it's got to be GOOD
>its never my fault and always yours
>race bait
>race bait
>race bait
gee I wonder why
The lesson to learn there is that there's no point dumping a lot of money to make movies no one cares about. The next SW movie is going to crash Disney's ego into the concrete harder than Solo.
It’s because the entire animated genre no longer feels original. This feels like it is any other because they all look the exact same and have the exact same story beats.
It's going to be tough for kid marketed movies because there are no kids anymore. The record audience sizes for that demographic has aged out forever. Class sizes are shrinking.
Maybe make a good story? Most successful children's movies appeal to both children and the parents who have to watch them. If it's just going to be a blues clues movie with no real story, they can watch that have children's programming on at home in the background without the hassle of going to the theater.
Narnia isn't a good book.
The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of books with different names, it's not a singular book called "Narnia".
The first one was though. Just like Game Of Thrones is a franchise that begins with Game Of Thrones, or Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is a franchise that begins with Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
Quit being pedantic.
>The first one was though
No, the first one is called "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"
meds. NOW
That's not really a meds thing, you just said something factually incorrect and then got corrected.
have sex, incel
Make GOOD original films
People come and watch sequals because they hope the new film will be as the prequals
>People come and watch sequals because they hope the new film will be as the prequals
I don't want to call you a zoomer or an ESL, because I actually met a boomer a few weeks ago who didn't know what the correct use of those words is.
If Star Wars 5 was made after Star Wars 4, then Star Wars 5 is a sequel, but Star Wars 4 is not a prequel, it is a PREDECESSOR.
Since Star Wars 3 was made long after Star Wars 4, that IS a prequel.
>>Why aren't there any original movies
movie comes out
>>Gets mid to positive reviews
>>It flops because no one noticed it
No more talent in positions of authority in Hollywood. It's all nepotistic globalist, communist ~~*jews*~~
>migration flopped
kek, that movie had the living shit pushed out of it too
