None of the characters know how people get into Heaven so why do we take it as given that people in Hell "deserve" to be there? Husker's only crime was gambling as far as we know. For that matter, what even is the difference between Heaven and Hell? Cannibal Town seems like a pretty nice place.
The entire "we don't know what gets souls heaven" plot point is dumb. Obviously the souls in heaven are on average much better people than those in hell, so clearly there is a system in effect even though it's not autistically precise (is that even possible to judge a soul with mathematical precision? I doubt that's what Charlie would strive for)
Also why the hell they take Adam's list so seriously? Sera is the overseer of souls, she should've made a list of requirements, Adam is the "army" of heaven, why does he have a say in it at all?

one thing that really disappointed me is that no one comments on how Charlie herself is the kind of person that should be redeemed and sent to heaven. If I as writing the show the premise would be that Charlie is unknowingly the expression of the purity Lucifer and Lilith lost during the original sin and in her actions to try to redeem sinners she proves that she herself deserves to be in heaven. The show would end with Adam grudgingly admitting that Charlie is as close to Eve pre first sin and welcomes her to Charlie heaven while Lucifer has a bittersweet cry back in hell both happy that his daughter has accomplished what he always wanted but now they will be forever apart.

It’s worth noting that Adam and Lute did want to forgive her and take her back to Heaven in episode 6. So when they (and their angelic daughters) aren’t merciful to her in episode 8, Vaggie literally brings this to herself, just like the Sinners.
So in Adam’s monologue, he was mad at the Sinners and at VAGGIE on rejecting him for Lucifer. So when Vaggie finds Joy and amusement for Adam’s death, it’s actually meant to be tragic.
Vaggie in this show is written to be a foolish teenage daughter who let her angst get to her.
