Don't care for people interested in minors, colored or otherwise. Ask them how old they prefer Peter Parker to be depicted and you'll notice a trend in their answers.
why are you on Reddit?
I was jerking off to black cat hentai
He is also ugly. What's next I'm not allowed to dislike black phenotypes? I thought we didn't enforce beauty standards on others?
the only way for Miles to work is if you kill off the OG Spidey. with how Peter has been written for the past few years I wouldn't mind that at all tbh
People aren't as racist as you and don't hold 50 years of continuity over a fictional character's head.
Miles and Peter work together just fine. You're just an idiot. Miles books are all about the action on the page, it's how he uses or gains powers to solve his problems in each story, he's a pure shonen anime hero in an American comic. He's no more shallow than a Goku or Naruto
Peter's books are about his ongoing personal drama and the he gets into super hero fights while web swinging between point a to point b, it's who he's not dating, will Aunt May get to her hospital appointment, it's about Robbie's relationship with his dad, Peter's books are a soap opera, you can't plug simply plug Miles into Peter's life, but can give Electro the 8 pages you waste every month on Mary Jane and Paul having a cute back and forth about laundry and design a cool fight around Miles and Electro shooting lightning at each other.
Miles' supporting cast isn't large enough yet to build long term soap opers, Marvel hasn't even created a serious romantic interest just writer's pets who come and go
Peter used to do both, hell he did both before Wells turned him into a joke who can't win a single fight.
Because white people and black people can't accept the fact that people dislike Miles beyond the color of his skin.
Killed off Ultimate Peter Parker and replaced him with Miles Morales. Placed him in 616 and named him Spider-man. Claimed he is The Spider-man in Spider-verse movies. Must had really triggered the Petergays.
As for me, Bendis created him and thus he is a shit character regardless.
I honestly just realized the “they’re replacing Peter to cut the Ditko estate out” cope makes even less sense with their insistence on connecting him to Gwen Stacy which is a Ditko character. This whole thing makes no sense to me and hope he gets better as an addition, but we all know he won’t.
he is connected to gwen only in movies and when bendis was self-inserting his wife's boyfriend as him, basically
Ask them what they think about Bailey if you want a good laugh.
Because if you dislike him, your a racist. The Spider-verse movies are alright, though I feel the supporting Spider-men help shore it up by making it so the focus isn't solely on him, same with the various Spiderverse series and team books he's on. He's just a weak character on his own, either shadowing Peter's stories, or being a Mary Sue that can overcome things no one else can like Absolute Carnage, where all the old ways to stop Carnage weren't working, but the Venom Blast could.
What Marvel needs to do is do what they did with Cap and US Agent in the 90s, separate them, put Miles out in California, let Pete do NY, and Kaine can still hang out in Texas or whatever the hell he's been doing. Make a Champions/WCA/Force Works, whatever team in California, have Miles be it's Spider-man, Pete still works with Avengers, and let Kaine show up for Secret Avengers, Thunderbolts, or some other darker team.
>The Spider-verse movies are alright
They're not though. And they're not even well animated for that matter actually. They just have a bright colorful art style that distracts people from the fact that it moves at like five fps.
Because anons were posting we spiderman now memes before the character even debuted. It poisoned the well.
What if I like game Miles but dislike comic Miles?
I like how Spider-Boy makes Milestrannies seethe merely by existing. That little ginger shit is the only thing of worth that Slott has created.

Redditors are NPCs. Trusted News says that Miles is good so obviously Miles is good and nobody could have any reason to dislike him. The only thing that makes sense is racism. Even if you argue points that have nothing at all to do with race that just means, to them, that you're merely obfuscating to hide your racism.
Even South Park says Miles is cool.
Reddit is so unhip, it’s pathetic.
Most people who enjoy his character knew him as a name and knew nothing else about him before some popular media pieces the last few years (namely the movies and playstation games). For people who aren't either avid readers or readers at all, there's no real reason to dislike him, because he's been written into a much more interesting character nowadays.
Poorly written initially (either in character or in dislike for how he was added) and he was a replacement to a character that people generally liked otherwise (once again, not just in comics) and it's not too surprising that people who haven't let go still don't care for him. That being said, I generally feel that the majority of people who don't like him explicitly nowadays aren't comic fans from years ago any more, but are largely just people who get mad when they see brown people on a screen for whatever personal reasons they need to tell themselves.
>Poorly written initially
>initially
He's still poorly written.
They should make Miles gay.
He’s too hetero for that. Even with a harem.
He hasn't discovered his sexuality yet. If representation matters, Milesgays should be okay with Miles being gay so that homosexual black boys are finally able to see themselves as Spider-Man.
THIS
SO
MUCH
THIS
It's unfortunate that BIPOC communities still express problematic homophobic ideals, so BIPOC members of the LGBTQIA+ community could really use someone as big as Spider-Man being an inspirational figure. It would mean something to them.
They are the most racist and homophobic demographic outside of white Republicans.
Web Weaver was created for homosexuals.
By Stan Lee’s clause, anyone named Spider-Man, cannot be queer.
That’s why Web Weaver was created.
Technically that only applies to Peter, if bendis says it’s ok miles will be gay
Nope, Stan Lee’s clause specifically states anyone named Spider-Man. So Miguel O’Hara can’t be gay either.
That’s specifically why Web Weaver was created and named that.
It just specifies that Peter Parker must be a hetero sexual Caucasian male anon, it leaves the room open for other characters as Spider-Man to be whatever they want
They have Aqualad and Prodigy for that already.
they should make him transexual and transracial he should also be Palestinian with depression and anxiety
Because the characters purpose to promote black people so when you go against that it's deemed racist
sir, he is black. That means any dissent will be considered racism
It’s the only reason Miles exists and is the only reason he’s been pushed so much. It’s not like he does anything that hasn’t been done better by another character
I'm not against a successor spider-man being black / latino or whatever. It's the replacement of the original that's a problem. DC was doing FINE with having a Superman and a Superboy and the kid's book had a very decent run.
It's Marvel's fault for giving Miles a try, having shitty writing that keeps changing the tone of his character left and right, and trying to force the issue that he's the spider-man of the future we have to accept.
>Boring
>Ugly
>Given repeated new powers
>Has every other character saying how amazing he is
>Shit supporting characters
Miles is a Mary Sue if I ever saw one. And none of my reasons involved race. He's the Jannetty to Peter's Michaels
>das racist
>character is black with electricity powers stereotype
let these people live their lives in stupidity, you can't change them
Can anyone name a single story he's had?
Vs Rabble.
The funniest thing is I don't even know if Rabble is a super villain or if you're implying twitter hate mob is just rabble and he's facing it.
Supervillain
>look up Rabble
>super villain origin is...
>hates Miles because he got into a school instead of her
Bruh
Thats petty
one of the things I like to do for fun is go to some comicbook forum and watch people point how much they hate miles morales without saying they hate him for policy reasons
